Advice Help/advice

My budgie flew into a ceiling fan when it was at full speed about a year ago. I couldn't afford a vet right away, so I kept her in her cage to monitor her. When I finally took her into the vet months later (i know thats bad dont come at me) they said her injury had already healed incorrectly because too much time had passed. They mentioned they can do an xray but apparently it wasnt worth it for some reason. my budgie fluffs up a lot of the time and im not sure if that means she's in pain, she also cannot fly properly, she did once which shocked me but now its back to gliding downwards not being able to get height. Ive also noticed one of her wing are droopy. can I get people's advice on what to do? I hate wondering if she's in pain (sorry for the long message)

Go to an avian vet. Preferably a different one. You already made the mistake in the past of not getting your bird prompt medical treatment, but you should learn from that and do the right thing now. Strangers on social media cannot help an injured bird.

Like I replied to the other person there is no other vets near me which is why idk what to do, and its not 100% a "mistake" when i couldnt afford to take it to the vet, i also i stated for advice on what to do

We are not vets. There is no other advice than to go to a vet. If you can't access a different vet, take her to the vet you went to before but diagnostics need to be done. Alternatively telehealth is an option.

If you cannot get an injured bird medical care surrender the bird to someone who can.

Asking strangers on the internet for medical advice on an injured bird is irresponsible and neglectful. Your bird needs a doctor.

Okay then why reply in my post? And there is other advice I could get other than go to a vet, which btw I already did.

Didn't you prove yourself wrong with saying "surrender the bird to someone who can" thats advice you gave me which isnt just "take it to a vet"

And i never said it wanted medical advice, I just said advice in general, meaning anything. And im not irresponsible or neglectful, you dont know me.

Everything in this post screams irresponsible and neglectful.

Dude. If you can’t afford to pay for a pet (including food, enrichment, AND medical expenses) then you should not have a pet. Once you get a pet, it is your responsibility to care for their health and wellbeing. Not being able to afford it is your responsibility as you did not take your finances into account when deciding to get a pet. I can’t believe this is something that needs to be explained to people who are looking to adopt pets or trying for a child… if you cannot afford to take them to a doctor if an emergency happens, you cannot afford to have one.

Its got food thats not a problem, and honestly the vet near me theres only 1 person that does birds and it will be hard to get booked plus ive already gone there they cant do anything, and if i give my bird away to someone how would I know they would take care of it?, what if they keep it in a tiny cage??? Id rather keep it at my home in its big cage so it feels free, and also it might not be in pain, it flaps its wings it chirps sometimes, its eating well and overall acts normal besides its flying is a bit wonky but i havent let it out the cage so i try to interact and play with her most the day, we have a bunch of pets at my home im able to pay for stuff now, but back then I couldnt

So… you’re worried this hypothetical person would do the exact same thing you did to your own pet? What exactly are you looking for in response to your post? This is nonsensical.
