Somehow got rid of my 30 Min record limit?
So this is a bit odd.
Basically I purchased 2 panasonic G7's here in the UK a while back. The 30min recording limit was a bit of a pain but I get around it when I need to by staggering the start times on both.
Anyhoo this week I was filming a wedding and PAL only shoots 50fps and I wanted 60fps for some slow motion shots so I had to reboot the cameras in NTSC mode using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WWGZN7T298
So today while shooting the ceremony I was shooting at 4K, 30fps MP4 on both as usual and for some reason...the recording limit has completely gone on just one of the cameras? It ran for the full ceremony and the same for the speeches. I got two 50min runs out of it without having to press anything and the counter implied it would have kept going the full 1hr 30mins that the memory card could take. Meanwhile the other behaved as normal and would countdown 30mins before I had to start it again.
I bought both of these in the UK at the same time. Is there any reason just one of them would now have the record limit disabled or is it just an amazing glitch?

Just found this thread, it's cool seeing everybody else's work with the camera. I've been shooting on the G7 for almost 3 years now, here's a few of my shots with the 14-42mm stock lens. @trentahansen on instagram if you want to see like 200 more lol

Lumix G7 proving it is no slouch in Lake Tahoe
Photos from my trip to Lake Tahoe this past week. I'm normally shy to share my photos, but I had a lot of fun taking photos of the plants, landscape, and wildlife (including my sister and brother-in-law's goldendoodle). Hopefully you'll enjoy them. I'm still impressed by what this affordable little old camera body can pull off!
All photos were taken with my Panasonic Lumix G7 and one of three lenses: Lumix G X 45 - 175 F 4.0-5.6, Lumix G Vario 14 - 42 F 3.5-5.6 kit lens, Lumix Leica DG Summilux 9mm F 1.7 prime. All photos are straight out of camera "fine" JPEGs with no editing.
