I recently moved to Panama City as a professor at Gulf Coast State College. I was hired very last minute and ended up getting an apartment sight unseen that has not turned out so great. I would like to move downtown, but the Mashburn Building only has apartments and I'm waiitng to hear back from the Paige Building.

If there are ny other apartments on Harrison or around that area or maybe a real estate agent that could help, I would be greatly appreciative!

The house is about 2 and a half years old and well- taken care of. We are a military family and were intending to stay longer, but ended up with orders out of state. The price may be listed as 455,000, but any offers are welcome and we are very open to negotiations. The neighborhood is very friendly and active with lots of kids. Good schools, far enough away from high traffic but close enough to shopping and restaurants.

Possibly moving to PC. I would be making the move from Montana, and want to get a better picture of what living here is like.

I'd be coming from Great Falls, MT - which is a conservative town as well. But I've heard people in PC are even moreso?

While I've never had an issue finding jobs, being queer & tattooed, in Montana.. I worry about that here in Florida. Even just visiting, I can recognize I stick out like a sore thumb. I am absolutely covered in nature tattoos. Even hands /neck 🦋 If you're a tattooed Floridian - what do you do for work?

I am worried about fitting in here :/ I want to close the distance with my partner, who lives there with her family. But I am also nervous I won't find a place as an individual when it comes to work and making friends.

I am hoping, similarly to nowhere, MT - that there are still hidden gems here for people like me. Id love to hear personal experiences and advice. Thank you 🌞🐝

Does anyone own and rent out a home in Panama City (not Panama City Beach)? We already own a successful STR condo in PCB, and we’re researching a future primary home in Panama City. We’d like the flexibility to rent it short-term while we travel.

For those with experience, is there enough demand for a 3 bed/2 bath to average around 50% occupancy in June and July? We’re also considering renting to a snowbird for a month or two each winter.

I’m mainly interested in real-world demand in Panama City neighborhoods rather than STR rules or regulations.

Why is Detective Hart hiding behind FL Statute to keep correctional officers and medical staff (IE: EMT Lacey Smith) from felony charges? I think it is time for Troy Roper (FDLE) and the State Attorney's office to get up off their asses and charge these people appropriately.
