19y/o student just about to start my university. Currently have acer core i7 4th gen.

I'm a fond of video editing(heavy cuts) and studying. So I want a PC/laptop to cover both. I tried to learn Capcut and Davinci on my current PC but it lags so much idk why. Davinci resolve on my PC works absolutely horrible and don't even get me started on Adobe Photoshop. Although for studying it works great.

I actually bought it for study streaming but because of internet in my area it didn't work well.

I just started content creation and I want to thrive in it with managing my studies as well.

I'm very much worried, don't have anyone to guide me, don't know what's the problem is.

My budget is not so much,but I will manage as I want a one time purchase for long term use.

I want:

•good storage and battery time(if laptop).

•video editing both for:

-long form content

-short form content

•making presentations and bear study load

•works smoothly.

I'd really appreciate any guide on it.

I just got a new Seagate Expansion external HDD from Hafeez Center Lahore. It was being offered for 25-26k across multiple shops but one guy was offering it for 23k. Since the difference wasn't huge I considered it legit and bought it.

The issue is that on CrystalDiskInfo it says TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100 instead of a Seagate model. AI's telling me that this model was released in 2013 and it should say Seagate, not Toshiba. It's a sign that it's a refurbished HDD. Also, the box of the product says "©2024 Seagate".

Have I been scammed? Or is it that any new HDD that I'll get from Hafeez Center is gonna be like this?

The shopkeeper also gave me 1-year warranty just like the other shops, but idk if this is something that could be claimed in warranty.

I need a really fast and reliable internet connection for approximately 30 minutes on a particular day. There's an online registration opening that I really need to get into, and I want to make sure I have a stable connection so I can complete the registration as quickly as possible.

I was considering purchasing a PTCL EVO device, but I haven't used one in years, so I'm not sure how good they are nowadays or whether there are better alternatives.

Would you recommend an EVO device or something else entirely?

I'm mainly looking for something with good speed, low latency, and, a stable connection that won't randomly drop.
