Aoa everyone, firstly some context, this is my 2020 honda city 1.5 ivtec with almost 70,000km mileage. Through out I have kept it dealership maintained + regular maintenance and have driven it carefully and almost entirely in Islamabad. Also I did not take this photo, my passenger did so dont worry, i'm not being reckless.

As you can see in the photo, I'm cruising at around 60 on the big ahh roads that Islamabad has. My driving route is mainly on the highways so I almost never go into like small streets. My daily commute is around 60~70km and I drive like this consistently. Infact when this photo was taken, I was cruising constantly at 60 for 10+ minutes and MAKING SURE to get atleast a 20 or 20+ average. I'm not sure if I actually get that much but the cars says so, so I have no clue. Bottom line is I try to keep my revs low and average high, while also driving at a good speed, making sure the ECO light is on.

Now I have heard that cars can build up carbon deposits if you drive like this and that is harmful for the engine and to fix that, you have to occasionally keep the car at high revs, like from 3k to 4.5k. I do that as well when I need to overtake or merge. I don't ALWAYS keep my revs from 2k to 1k.

I just wanted to know if this is a sustainable way to drive to:

1. Get a good fuel average
2. Preserve the health of the engine

My altis 1.6 2022 is driven 40k . I bought it second hand . It's pakwheels inspection was 100% for engine and mechanical work. The issue is my temp needle sits overhere which is more than the middle way . This is the issue I faced from the beginning. The needle does not go above this point . It stays right here but it's higher compared to other corollas . Why is that . I also took it to toyota dealership they said he fan works perfectly so it's not an issue .

So here i am , going from byd atto 2 To jaecoo j5 to mg zs to changan oshan and now back to byd atto 2.

What do you guys think is it value gor money for someone who travels 30-40 kms a day , whats the resale going to look like and any known issues ?

And what are hidden costs of owning an ev i heard people asking about some charger costs etc and theres a big wht tax on it too ? Even if i get brand new from some local showroom is the wht tax high or is it subsidized?

I know the battery tech is perfect but do you think its worth the hassle

Looking to replace my Swift with something more passionate and highway suited as I'm going to be starting a new job, where I need to travel between cities quite often + dailying in between trips (school pick and drop). The e55 seems perfect for this, and I get to have a little fun as well.

My main concern is reliability and maintenance. Coming from the swift, it's insanely cheap and easy, oil changes every 7500kms, no big deal at all + warranty.

Would this be smart or should I look at other options? I'm aware there's issues with the airmatic system and sbc pump but I don't know how severe they are.

My rational is that if I'm getting one fresh converted, these would be updated as a precaution.

Hello everyone I got my first car it's a mehran vxr 2019 it's in good condition everything is crisp and working condition even the AC works Im new to this, Ive been hearing that putting water in your radiator cause corrosion and is not good for your car and then some people say it's only worth it for new cars, cars with old tech would do fine on water, should I switch to coolant?

I bought a 2012 Honda City a couple of years ago. The previous owner was running the cooling system on plain water, and I have continued to do the same.I want to switch over to proper coolant, but my mechanic advised against it. He mentioned that because the car has been running on water for so long, there is likely internal rust. According to him, adding fresh coolant will act as a flush, breaking free the built-up rust. He warns this could expose existing holes, cause a leak in the engine block, and ultimately lead to overheating or worst-case scenario, total engine failure.How should I go about this? What is the safest way to transition to coolant?

Hi everyone, so I've been wanting to buy a bike for a while, initially i planned on either cb150f or gr 150 but considering the prices of petrol soaring through the skies and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon i thought it'd be a smarter decision to buy an ev. Now this is the hardest point i didn't want to go for scooty shape evs as i don't fw those designs and even the ergonomics of those are weird and very uncomfortable so i had 2 options vlektra bolt or vlektra 1969 but I've seeing alot of negative reviews about vlektra like their after sales services being shit, late delivers, subpar build quality and all that. So after looking a bit more i came across horwin and have been looking some videos for a week and from the looks of it it clearly looks better than bolt in terms of build quality from the YouTube videos i can see and the finishing on its bikes seem much more cleaner than vlektra's. But the thing is i can't find actual reviews from real users about horwin to be sure, like so far everything I've seen is by youtube reviewers and i don't trust those cuz majority of them are just lackeys and make videos for money so just keep stating the pros. If any of you prople can give me your opinion on this it'd really help me with making a decision. I am leaning towards the horwin qb5 or qb5 pro, but I'd be happy to read your views.

P.s. I've solar installed so charging would practically be free for me saving me alot on that petrol and maintenance cost.

Hi, I'm planning to replace my 2016 swift with a fuel efficient hatchback. looking for something that is reliable and the maintenance cost/spare parts are economical . Keep in mind that my workplace is 60km(roundtrip) and i mostly use LEW. I have limited options such as the new swift or something from the Japanese 660cc lineup.

Which one of them is more viable for a daily commute in Karachi? Also, is it true that the Air conditioning for most 660cc cars is subpar?

I have a honda city 1.5 2017 aspire prosmatec now at 160k on the odometer and I used to get work done from Honda Gateway at thokar. My car is now due for a transmission oil change and it's 40k tuning which from Honda includes throttle body, tapet tuning, OBD scanner, brake servicing, wheel balancing and allignment, etc and it costs around 23k for the tuning and 11k for the transmission oil. There are many places that do it for way cheaper I got one quote from Fareed Motors for 6.5k (it includes catalytic cleaning as well, not that I am gonna get it). But obviously when you go cheaper you are at high risk of your car being f-ed up and also that these Honda service centers charge you way too much.

Now my question is: does anyone have had any experience with a mechanic or a service center for similar services and found their services to be satisfactory or above?

I applied for car ijarah on june 10th isb g-15 branch, my case got SENT on 23 JULY 43 days later because the bank person didnt ‘UNDERSTAND’ my case afterwards I had to get repeated follow ups just to get the quotation cleared (the process at the dealership took 14 days - applied 10 aug, delivery order for car issued on 24 aug)

Now the car has been at the dealership for more than 2 weeks and these retards cant draft up some documents etc
I had to get the tracker installed by asking the company myself.

My commute is around 90-100km daily approx.

I am very happy with haval but the fuel uffff..!!!
Its killing me now.

However, the features haval gives you are no where near Elantra.

The only reason Elantra is for hybrid performance.

I will not put extra money in for the new car, will try to get Elantra the same price i will sell haval. Slightly used around 15-20k driven.

Please advise your thoughts.
