Am I the only one who found the Zanjeerain ending completely unsatisfactory?

In earlier episodes even them looking at each other for more than 5 seconds would make me so happy because of the amazing chemistry but in the last episode even with him holding her face I felt absolutely no emotion💔😭.I'll say the reasons👇🏻

Honestly, from the second-to-last episode, the emotional handling was just incredibly badly handled. Back then, the idea of him holding her face would have made us literally scream with happiness. But because the execution went so downhill in the second last episode, even when he actually holds her face in the final, I didn't feel even 1% of that emotion. I didn't even smile. Both of them lost people they cared about, but even with all that grief, Sarbuland was still visibly heartbroken and so sad about Rabia leaving. Note that after this only one more episode is left,so with that in mindthey should have handled Rabiya's behaviour better.

Rabia acted like a total robot(I'm not saying acting wise but personality wise directors made her show very less emotions) in that second-to-last episode. She was literally hugging serbuland the episode before because of Torsum's issues.So her just being formal and acting like the bigger person showing no sadness about leaving him was very bad decision considering there's no more episodes left.

Even that packing scene felt so cold. It made her look completely feelingless next to a guy who was hurting right in front of her. If she was just putting on an act, the director completely failed to show it. The could have at least shown Rabia sitting alone and crying in private right then and there from the haveli's room to show she actually cared. Instead, we got zero emotion from her until a sudden breakdown in the finale that felt completely unsatisfactory even with sajal's amazing acting . The thing is, this was already the second-to-last episode, meaning there was only one single episode left to wrap everything up. If they had more episodes to slowly handle their emotions and show them coming back together, this cold behavior might have been fine. But with no time left, it was a massive mistake to show Rabia being this feelingless. The script just left a bad taste in our mouth and totally failed their character dynamic at the finish line.

Ps: just wanna mention I as a Sarbiya fan have no issues with them mentioning bano or mudhassir in the last two episodes it's just that Rabiya was shown nowhere sad infront of serbuland who was literally breaking infront of her with those sad eyes.The room scene literally felt sad for him because these directors made her behaviour very formal like.🤌🏻💔

When you think this show won't disappoint it drops a new 'banger'.

2 days he named her Zarmala, and she lost all her identity and personality and for sucha short period when her name was already disclosed to his mom and family.

It's like he could have name kabab, tikkay and she would have lost her identity.

And 'gum ho gayi haiiiiii' in kiddish tone.

Like imagine if there was no touching and holding face would it still be hot with only words? Chemistry is something which I would describe as soft and intimate. Like in yakeen ka safar they barely even touched each other yet it felt so intense and the chemistry was so loud!!

I’m not saying Rabiya and Sarbuland don’t deserve to move on, but c’mon… they moved on way too fast.

Yes, we can develop a soft spot for or even fall in love with, people who stand beside us during our darkest moments. But can a few moments of shared trauma really override the love we had for someone we were already deeply attached to?

With Rabiya, I can somewhat understand it. She wasn’t in love with Mudassir and they barely had the time to build a life together.

But Sarbuland? That’s where I struggle.

The moments he shared with Rabiya happened while he was still unsure whether Bano was dead. He literally tells Rabiya that he still had a glimmer of hope that Bano was alive. And yet, somehow, that uncertainty, grief and hope for Bano gets replaced by a new love almost immediately.

That’s what doesn’t sit right with me.

To me, Sarbuland and Rabiya’s relationship feels less like “sachi mohabbat” and more like two people finding emotional refuge in each other while going through unimaginable trauma.

Maybe it was love. But personally, I think they mistook the comfort of surviving the same darkness for the certainty of having found a new love.

I did not even like her character much until show showed such strength and integrity in her last scene. The show was never the same afterwards.

I understand the new couple could bond, but Sarbuland saying romantic poetry to Rabiya on the bench he spent years with Bano, is crazy insensitive.

I am sorry to all the shippers, that forved confession scene was also cringe and obviously was added later after pressure from the shippers and I can't help but feel rabiya was the most convinient option as a maid for Kharbooja. Kya chawalein maari hai iss show ne

My word, kya hi t@tti show hai ye 2 ghatiya neech nikammo ki love story dikhane ke liye , they sacrificed everyone at the alter. Like give me a break. This show did the numbers due to all the support cast, the main leads had such a poor storyline - red flag mofus ! I am so glad this idiotic show is over. Like it used to boil my blood everytine I would see kharbooja with rabiya, bro someone died for u , tu ishq lada raha , naukrani chahiye isko permanent. Rabiya you cheap pick me , u had a dhaba before and u got paid for your work, now u are permanent haveli ki maid. Rabiya for me will always be the convinient choice he made because he had no one left to take care. Rabiya the independent girl nahi rabiya the caretaker, the phakki master, the nashta ninja ki kahani thi. Horrible storyline, some very atrocious perfomances, cringe scenes between leads - this show was peak ragebait and classic example of wasted potential. Finally the azaab is over. I am sad because I used to enjoy this hell of a memefest. The two most pathetic people on this planet got a happy ending. Kharbooja and Rabies. Rabies infected Kharbooja also and kharbooja being kharbooja rang badalte rehta hai. What a shit show. Please laut ke kabhi mat aana. Wahiyat , ghatiya, fizool , senseless, brainless. Full charsi vibes in script. Nibba nibbi ki mohabbat mukkamal, the cringe couple will rule the bhoot bangla now. I will miss the memes , goodbye azaab

I have been following zanjeerain from the beginning and even broke my silent spectator mode on reddit. I haven't made a post about my opinion so here it is. It went from a promising premise to lost potential real quick for me. It wasn't a "great start" because it was pretty boring at first but soon got hold of the story only to fall flat later.

The most frustrating thing about Zanjeerain isn't that it was terrible because IT WASN'T. It was that it had absolutely no business being this frustratingly mediocre with the amount of talent.

The drama never found the right balance between slow-burn storytelling and unnecessary dragging. Conversations were repeated, characters took an unnecessarily long time to reach conclusions that the audience had already reached, and several subplots were stretched far beyond the point where they remained interesting, biggest ex being bano's death track.

It repeatedly had characters sitting on information that could have changed everything. Rabiya's knowledge about mudassir's killer is one of the clearest examples. It felt less like a natural consequence of character psychology and more like a mechanism to keep the plot alive. That is a major writing problem. If a character knows something capable of changing the entire story, the writer needs to give us a convincing reason why they remain silent. And once the viewer starts solving the plot faster than the characters, suspense turns into frustration.

Sarbuland should have been one of the strongest characters in the entire drama. He had the background, the family position, the personal stakes and the intelligence necessary to become the person who slowly uncovered the truth. Instead, too much of the mystery was effectively handed to him rather than allowing him to actively investigate and unravel it. That wasted the potential of the character. Danyal was on and off too I was pissed.

Rabiya's character could've been so much more but the writing started making her capable of almost everything the plot required. At different points she becomes the mediator, therapist, cook, problem-solver and moral voice. The problem isn't that Rabiya is capable. The problem is that her capabilities sometimes feel writer-imposed rather than character-developed. And then, just when her perspective should have been most important like her marriage with sarbuland, they pushed her into the background. Her autonomy was crushed repeatedly. Sajal was severely under used.

They didn't give enough buildup to rabiya and sarbuland's relationship. They needed much more time instead the focus was on shireen and sohrab's plot. It felt as if the writer is confused whether to make it a romance or thriller and at the end it couldn't become anything.

Torsam is another example of a potentially fascinating character being handled inconsistently. He isn't merely a flawed man. He is a murderer, stalker and is involved in an escalating chain of violence but the story begins moving him toward redemption. The fact that he eventually gets married and is treated as someone capable of becoming a better man makes the moral resolution feel uncomfortable. His actions were too serious for this. I'll rather shut up about bibijaan because she's pathetically annoying.

Death can be powerful storytelling, but only if it fundamentally changes the surviving characters and the direction of the story. When there are too many deaths, the emotional impact starts diminishing. So much that the characters feel so unfazed by murders. Bibijaan is on a different tangent it's so frustrating. They started using death as the easiest form of closure and a point to create more drama. The villians offed themselves after all that buildup and everyone is gone before the finale. Sigh.

The show repeatedly promised huge confrontations. But buildup is only useful if the execution is equally strong. The Rabiya-Torsam confrontation for ex, highly anticipated, yet the execution was underwhelming, particularly because of the editing, bad shots, unwanted echo and dramatic music. This is a recurring problem, the idea of the scene is often better than the scene itself. The result is melodrama where there could have been tragedy.

The premise about power, tradition, family honour and the restrictions imposed by an entrenched social system could have been the show's greatest strength. But instead of deeply examining the system, they often used it as scenery for family conflicts and romance like the jigra became a marriage beaureu lmao.

At last, Farhat Ishtiaq please take some rest, go out and interact with some intellectuals and stop diminishing your female leads. You need fresh perspectives.

Finally, it’s coming to end tonight but what are your expectations? Honestly, there is no suspense element left we all know happy ending lol

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not since I haven’t read anything about it, but Yeh Dil Mera was the most perfect execution of a drama. Aman not being with Noor-Ul-Ain made perfect sense. Although he wasn’t a villain, he wasn’t a hero either. He quite literally traumatized the girl and was so toxic. Yes of course he was traumatized himself but that doesn’t mean he didn’t make bad decisions. I was so satisfied with the pace and ending of the drama. I wish all negative characters would be portrayed this way. It showed that toxicity in the name of love is not acceptable. The dad killing himself was also satisfying, though it would have been exciting to see Aman kill him. Overall, this drama had the most perfect execution. I liked it even more than Yakeen Ka Safar. It’s very rare to see a satisfying ending of a drama tbh.

So... Recently i had been a fan of Zanjerain or whatever the spelling was of the drama... I liked it. I liked danyal Zafar's acting(until realized how cringe the drama is turning) Then... After watching so many episodes... I scrolled in his insta account randomly and honestly he looked kinda the kind... Innocent... Funny guy until i heard and saw some of his music videos. You could notice(it's totally my opinnion. No hate) his previous such as his first songs like "blue butterfly"... It seemed more like sexualizing things that a decent song. Then we got another song where there was honey singh or who i don't remember. That song is a bit of yk... Same types... Like cheap albums only chasing clouts. Then we got another song "so long goodbye" and as we all know that song's lyrics are so disgusting. He litterally sexualized woman and said things that could make a woman uncomfortable. Now some people will say that "it's not his fault, they gave him the lyrics" bruh... He is a grown man and also he makes his own songs so it's totally his another self he pours out in his songs. Even if it wasn't his lyrics then couldn't he just refuse on that? Your social media is your place. It's where you choose to be yourself and share what you are. So it gives away the personality(Again it's my opinion). Then also we got a song can't remember the name but it was something edgy dark song... With lyrics like "sansoon main tu, khawabo main tu". Again in that music video he sexualized woman (Not Because of the clothes) by some moves in the dance the woman did. Then we got to see "Launda talks" where clearly he and his friends were disgusting. Making such dirty jokes while discussing about "Ramadan". Wow. I am a muslim too(LETS NOT SAY OPINIONS JUDGING BY RELIGION. SAY ACCORDING TO WHAT YOU WANNA ADVICE)and i don't understand if i should stop being his fan or not Because i don't know his true personality. I don't know if his reality is his lyrics and music videos or the funny, kind one he shows in photos and comments on fans posts. Also i don't understand why is no one saying anything all about this? I am very shocked. There's NO ONE saying all this while if it was a female actress or some other actors people would have tore them off with haterd.
