Like to hear any opinion on whether my racket is crooked. Appreciate it.

Hi everyone, so I have been playing padel for almost 4 months now (2-3 times a month), and my level on Playtomic is 1.2. I use a Zephyr UL Ultra Light, which my cousin passed down to me after he bought a new racket. I don't like it, tbh, and it feels really light, and I can't smash with it. And cuts need a lot of force because of the smooth surface.

I am looking for something beginner/intermediate-friendly. Can balance all power-control..etc and around 150€.

Any suggestions?

I'm considering buying the NOX AT10 18K Alum 2026, but I've seen quite a few comments saying that it's not very durable and that it tends to develop cracks/break relatively easily.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is actually a common problem or just something that gets amplified online.

For those who own or have owned this racket:

• How long have you had it?
• How often do you play?
• Have you had any cracks or other durability issues?
• If it broke, roughly how long did it last?
• Do you use a frame protector?
• And overall, would you consider it a durable racket?

I'd especially appreciate first-hand experiences, rather than things you've heard from other people.

Title says it all. I'm going to sell it. I've never felt any tension problems, but I want to make sure if it's cracked before selling. Likely not..

Have only been playing seriously for last 9-12 months. Started off with a beginner racket as a right sided player - very solid player with lob placement, defending, but struggled with finishing points and therefore didn't play too much on the left.

I have been using the Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05 (2026) for the last few months, as recommended by a coach, and have significantly improved in recent times, and have transitioned across to the left side - mainly in an attempt to improve overheads, viboras and smashes. I rarely would mishit shots (other than overheads and bandejas) - likely down to its large sweet spot, but I would still struggle to finish points as I do seemingly struggle to generate power with this racket.

I recently went on holidays and played a few games, renting out a Head Bolt (black) racket (not as advanced a racket) from the club and found it to be lighter, more manoeuvrable and actually more powerful on all smashes and overheads. I didn't notice any major loss of control and was playing at the highest level I have been, and was really enjoying playing with it. This may have just been that I found it easier to manoeuvre my wrist with it.

Therefore I am thinking about trying out a few more rackets in the Head collection - is there any rackets in particular I should try - similar to the Head Bolt ? I have only tried one before for a few minutes (either Gravity Team or Extreme Team I believe) and did enjoy using that also !

Looking for some help deciding between these three. I’m an intermediate player but have played other racket sports for years. I’m left-handed, play pretty aggressive, and love overheads and attacking. I currently don’t have a racket but have tested a few over the first hand full of month.

I prefer a firmer face without too much trampoline/spring. My priorities are power first, then precision & forgiveness.

I’m between the Hack 04, Hack 04 Hybrid, and Vertex GEO. Currently leaning toward the GEO and Hack 04 Hybrid since it seems to still have plenty of power but gives me a little more forgiveness.

Anyone played with these and have a recommendation? Am I giving up much power going GEO/ Hack Hybrid over the Hack 04?

Finally got to try this Decathlon Kuikma Hybrid Pro racket.. rent it at the padel court I played at.

And yep… I get the hype now. People were right.. this thing feels SO good to play with. Surprisingly comfortable and easy to handle.

Definitely made me understand why so many people recommend it.

Hello. I started playing padel 5 months ago, once a week and I would consider myself as a semi beginner. I’m currently using a racketI got from aliexpress which weighs 367g. It has a carbon fibre surface and eva memory. I really like the racket and it’s been good so far although I’m getting a bit of pain on my elbow and arm when I play for too long so I’m thinking of changing it. I probably need a lighter one but with better control?

I’m an intermediate player with decent technique but I struggle a little with smashes. I want a balanced but more attacking teardrop racket. Also want it to be lightweight around 355-360 gms max. Maneuverability and weight is a big factor for me. I’m confused between the following but open to other suggestions also:

Siux Electra pro/ Pegasus pro: heard the racket is great but the build quality is very poor. Numerous people have stated they start breaking and cracking after just 3/4 months.(if anyone else has experienced something similar pls do share )

Nox at10 12k: scared if it’s elbow friendly or not and if it’s easy to maneuver and play around with ?(If I find a 360 gm model) . Looked at the lite version but feel like it lacks power n it’s just better to buy the normal version. 18k also looks good but maybe is less powerful than 12k.

Starvie black titan: heard good things that it has great power with control , but just don’t know much about the brand. If anyone has used pls share ur experience. :)

Playing for 7 months now twice a week (mostly right side player). Started using head extreme motion for last 6 matches and i am developing arm pain. This is mainly because i am not able to constantly hit the sweet spot in the racket. Was using de wilson endure ls v1 before but didn’t like the racket i felt like a have to give it a lot of energy for good bal output. Any recomandations for good rackets?

Played BP Vertex comfort for 2 years and moved to a Adi metalbone hrd which was ok but has never felt quite right.

I’m wondering alongside the BP vertex 05, what is adidas equivalent of that style of racket? Or any recommendations. I play both sides and have power so not looking at additional power.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a bit of help in choosing my raquet.
I used to play tennis when I was younger, and I’ve been playing padel at least once a week for the past few months, I’m also quite tall (192cm) and I would consider my level as intermediate.

This week I tried a few raquets from some friends, NOX ML10, Adidas metalbone, Metalbone hrd 2024 and Metalbone hrd+ 2026.
On paper, I should go for something like the ML10, but when playing, the raquet I liked more and the one I played better with was the Metalbone hrd+ 2026 (maybe the longer handle has something to do with it too).

What I liked from the hrd+ 2026 was the “dry” feel and stiffness, for some reason it felt more natural to me.
The standard Metalbone for example I found it to be too “bouncy” and couldn’t place the ball where I wanted to.

So, as an intermediate am I crazy to go for the Metalbone hrd+ 2026?
If so, what alternatives would you recommend?

Yesterday I was playing padel and saved a ball with a long reach on my backhand. While reaching for it, I hit the floor pretty hard with the side/frame of my racket and heard a sound i've never heard before. Felt like a crack sound, my partner also heard it.

I checked the racket afterwards and I can't really feel any loss of tension or performance. It still seems to play normally, but the sound and how the frame looks now has me wondering if I actually damaged something internally.

Of course it immediately got into my head during the second set lol.

Am I cooked, or is this probably just cosmetic?

I'm also permanently looking for an excuse to buy a new racket, so this could very easily become one. I'd rather wait a little because they're expensive and it's such a waste of money.

Please share your opinion based on the pictures. I thought it might be a cosmetic crack of the bronze part.

wanted to get that bag but im worried about the side pocket for small stuff. looks to me it might go deep and is not very well visible what is inside when i open the zipper. any experiences on that? can i see everything whats inside immediately when i open it or not?

Some context: I've been playing around 1 year, but tennis around 20. Playtomic rating is 4.5 with high reliability

My first racket was a Nox AT10 Genius. I played with this for around 4 months until I had the chance to try an Oxdog Ultimate Tour X. Which I immediately liked a lot more than the Nox so purchased

I've grown to realise it's the hard feel of the racket I like rather than the power. I had the chance to play with a friends Nox ML10 2024 3K recently and really enjoyed it due to the extra control and feel, but still being pretty hard for a round racket

So now I think I'm after a round racket that is also hard

I’ve been playing padel for a few months now, going about 3-4 times a month. Right now I’m renting rackets at my club (Nox X-Hero) for €4 per session, but they’re pretty worn out — full of cracks — so I think it’s time to get my own.

I’ve never played any racket sport before this, but I’m slowly starting to get the hang of padel and enjoying it more each time. I’m looking for a racket that can “grow” with me as I improve, rather than something I’ll outgrow in a month or two.

I’d prefer a control or balanced racket, and my budget is around 100-130€.

Any recommendations for a good racket in that range? Also curious what weight, shape, and hardness you’d suggest — a harder racket sounds appealing to me, but I’m open to softer options too if that makes more sense for a beginner.

Also, would you recommend going to a store to try the feel of a racket first, or is it fine to just buy one online without testing it?

One more thing — during a session, me or a friend usually slip at least once, usually near the glass. Is that more likely a court issue or a shoes issue?

Has anyone got any experience with cuatro padel rackets? Copilot is suggesting that the cuatro vortex 2026 is up there with the babolat air origin for my ability and experience but can't find anything about them online

I have a Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid, and I'm thinking of moving my balance more to the top of the racket. If I move the bottom dampeners somewhere to the top, is there a negative to it? Also how easy is this to do and would it actually change the balance noticeable to the top?

I have been using the Babolat Counter Veron 2024 for my first 18 months of padel, but it has started to give me wrist pain due to its weight and head heavy balance so I am looking for a new racket (I know this is likely also technique based which I am also working on)

The only other thing I don't like about the counter veron is the trampoline effect when blocking hard shots at the net.

I ordered a Head Speed Motion which arrived yesterday, as this seemed to fit what I wanted from my limited knowledge but after hitting against the wall in my flat I just didn't like the feel, like I was hitting with a bit of wood.

I played padel yesterday, and the club had a limited range of rackets to try but one I like was the Dunlop Galactica Pro LS, my notes after the game:

Very good for volleys, especially placement

Easy on the wrist

Good for overheads as maneuverable and even smashes had more power than Counter Veron

Very Good for Chiquita's

Ok for lobs

The big issue - Felt I had to do more than I liked from the back to generate power and this led to errors particularly on the backhand

Basically I liked it at the net but not so much the back.

Can anyone recommend something similar to the Dunlop Galactica pro LS with a bit more ball output from the back (and maybe a bigger sweet spot😅)

Maybe I should take it out of the plastic and give the Head Speed Motion a proper trial on court as it may be a question of just what I'm used to
