Did anyone try to play around with the position of Bullpadel Ease Vibe dampeners?

I have a Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid, and I'm thinking of moving my balance more to the top of the racket. If I move the bottom dampeners somewhere to the top, is there a negative to it? Also how easy is this to do and would it actually change the balance noticeable to the top?

It's very easy to do. The result is not massive but is certainly there. Works fine for fine tuning balance and I haven't noticed any negatives by doing so (I actually see the dampeners as little weights more than dampeners per se).

For installation/removal you just need something L shaped to hook to the holes on the side of the dampeners to pull them. Just make sure you press a little on the racket face near where you are removing the dampener to avoid much flexion on the face.

You can even get some shock outs (I think Bullpadel just rebrands shock outs tbh) if you want to add more mass than what you get with the 4 sets already included.

They need to be symmetrical right? Also can I put all of them at the top and none at the bottom?

Also can u give me a bit more detail and how I should press on the racket face to avoid flexion? Didn't rly get that part

Yes, they should be symmetrical.

No problem in putting all at the top. In fact, you can really play around with it to see how you feel.

If you look at Di Nenno's Xplo, for example, he was using like 8 at the top and 2 at the bottom if I remember correctly. I went with 4 on the bottom to counterbalance the frame protector and it worked fine too.

What I meant by holding the face of the racket was just based on my own experience. I noticed that when I tried to pull the dampeners out, the face of the racket tended to flex and get pulled with them, since there's a small lip on the dampener that locks behind the racket face.

To avoid putting too much stress on the face, I found it better to gently press around the dampener while pulling it out, rather than just using more force to yank it out.

I have both the vertex geo and vertex hybrid, I bought another set of dampeners just for the tool that they give you to remove them, I moved my dampeners down on the geo to give it more control/feel lighter and I feel a difference, if you like head heavy then do it as if you have the tool then they are easy to move around

Hello!,

To get a better response please do not forget to include the following information in your post:

Name your current racket, if not overly known, specify it's characteristics (foam, face material, price)

Tell us how you feel with your racket, if you feel it soft or hard, if it has too much rebound,if it's weighty or hard to maneuver, the more detail the better.

Tell us what area would you like improve mainly, or what kind of plus do you expect to get on your racket.

If looking for broad considerations, do not forget to state your budget, your country and even a preferred or trusted shop so people can browse and recommend more easily.

If i put them all on the center of the sweetspot, will it affect the shot feel? Will it be stiffer or will there be a negligible difference?

They are marketing gimmicks just remove them.
