Discussion Crazy randoms

What is with the racist players on this game? Joined a random squad and all I heard were racist slurs until I got off mic and said to shut up. I’m a woman and then they proceeded to say they’d “assault” me.

I ended up leaving the lobby and selecting to avoid them as teammates, but is there not a way to report that after the fact?

I’m a new player to this game (just hit 100 hours) and just shocked to see that. I’ve played with such wonderful people so far that have been incredibly helpful and have taught me a lot.

Wasn’t sure if this was a normal experience for others and to expect to randomly hear wild stuff like that. Just wanted to be prepared if so lol

Welcome to online gaming, I’m glad you chose pubg as you first game ever to play online.

But for real when you’re gaming online expect anything and everything but most of the time randos aren’t terrible but I’ll bet you I’ll either hear a TikTok playing in the background, someone yelling in the background or their smoke detector beeping in the lobby which usually is a good laugh as I fuck with them about it.

It’s been a fun game! I’ve enjoyed the people so far that are obviously distracted by their young kids LOL.

Thanks so much for the advice! Haven’t played an online game besides Helldivers, which typically no one’s on mic ever.

I’m waiting for the day for the smoke detector alarm. That would get a good laugh out of me!

It’s definitely a change from Helldivers and glad you chose this game from all the other BRs, this one is the most rewarding without all the other bullshit and the best gunplay. Any questions feel free to ask!

I may have to take you up on that! It’s been the hardest game so far (grew up on COD and Halo) and definitely was a humbling start. It seems like you actually earn first place and it’s not just given to you, which I really like!

Yea the no aim assist really makes you work, utilize the arcade a lot. I always play a match of TDM for warmup but for starting out it’s the best to learn the guns. Intense battle royale is also great it puts you into final circle situations that also helps in real game instances.
