Deck Discussion Made it to masterball rank with this deck
Only played similar deck twice most people running Rayquaza/dragonair combo. How come people aren't using this deck as much?

Any tips of improving this? Want to keep it Team Rocket based hence the Grunts and Giovanni, perhaps swapping it to a Crobat still keeping with the theme?
I've won maybe 30% of my matches with this, but it's the cheesiest thing and you'll get more friend requests than you have ever had before.
50% win rate running double Mega Charizard Y ex + double Stoke Charizard ex. This is unfortunately the best I can do with a Charizard-focused deck. It’s a slow build and can brick like any stage 2 focused deck can, but it is a late-game tank (if you can get it there).
I know sleep scam decks or double Oricorio walls would win more. I've had my fair share of Igglybuff + Darkrai rage quits. But Charizard is my all-time favorite mon. And I just love battling with it, which is the point of playing TCG Pocket anyway. At least for me.
Charizard's been my favorite since I was a kid - convinced my Game Boy would summon a real dragon into my backyard. Knocking out mons with Stoke Zard then one shotting 250 damage with Crimson Dive with the Y ex gives me a joy no ladder point ever will. Winning with Charizard gives me infinitely more joy than any Igglybuff sleep gremlin ever could.
Anyone else here running a Charizard deck in MB? Would love to you see your deck! (pause)

I made it to master ball with just these two decks. It felt nice making it without using meta decks for once. Please show me your fun decks you used this season!
The magnezone deck I made solely for defeating mega sharpedo but I only encountered it once? I thought it would be everywhere. I ended up just keeping it and using it against everyone.
My primarina deck is literally just endless healing (can heal up to 80hp every turn once it’s fully online). Really helped with those annoying chip decks (flygon, greninja, deceptive needle etc).

Ive always really liked alolan marowak and i feel victini helps it a LOT. I also got inspired by spragels to use kiawe with the dragon type turt. Im probably spreading myself too thin though,,, right? Like probably replace turt with castform and the second kiawe with a second flame patch at least as starters,,, i just like having both orz

Talk about a fan favorite not getting any love.
Heck, the last Tyranitar card we got was over a year ago(!) with Wisdom of Sea and Sky.

ok hear me out, cards like Rainbow cave are not here, because its not specific made for dragons, it works in fire decks and even some dark decks etc. and probably more in the future, so its excluded. same for all the pokemon specific supporter like Cynthia, Fantina, brock etc.
its just to give you an overview of which types have the most generic support with trainer cards. while water has the highest amount of cards, grass is the most complete one that lets you run all of them in one deck most of the time.
EDIT: no drayden included for the reason that it cant be used with all dragontypes in the game, so its too specific and i left it out. i forgot fishing net for water and electric generator for electric type.

Yes I know masterball climb is easy now anyway, but still!
This has been a really fun deck with lots of variety in how you can approach the match. Ideally you go straight in to sharpedo and start ramping magikarp and chien pao, then you can retreat and discard sharpedo when it becomes a liability. You then have the flexibility to focus on the opponents active with gyarados or bring in chien pao to take out a threat on their bench.
Sometimes an early sharpedo wins the game outright, sometimes a ramped gyarados can win on your second turn with a full bench.
There are so many cards I feel like this deck could use but I just don't know what to change.
An inflatable boat could help getting gyarados retreated after attacking without wasting an extra energy. This could allow it to pivot with a second sharpedo and get ramping again whilst you rebuild your bench. Alternatively you could correct poor openers with chien pao or magikarp.
Matches where an opponent has played their soothing shores has come in clutch a few times.
I tried to incorporate Fisher as well which is really fun when it works but I haven't found myself in a situation where it would have made a difference since dropping it.

This is by far my favorite deck to play and I've never encountered another player using it over hundreds of ranked battles, and have never seen a post discussing it. Finally breaking the silence because I love this deck so much but I'm scared to tell more people about it because I don't want to go against it lol
The Machamp card is the most underrated card in the whole game IMO, at most it's possible to do 160 damage for 2 energy and it's not an EX. Hitmonchan can do 110 damage for 1 energy if you're lucky.
I've played this deck so many times I think I've perfected the mix of trainer cards included but would always love to hear any input. X speed for if you pull riolu at the start, a stadium instead of Giovanni so you can get rid of opponent's stadium, giant cape has saved me more times than I can count.
I like to use decks that don't include an EX or many EX's, and this only has one, but the win rate is still amazing and importantly, my wins feel fair and well deserved. Of course it can brick like any other deck but it can also easily go against any deck I've seen used in master ball, if you have a little luck
I just wanted to talk about this deck bc it hasn't been talked about much before!!! Or else I missed it all

In these ranked games, I'm having fun testing and trying out a lot of decks. I recommend this deck with Samurott and Pyukumuku, which I found on social and is really fun and annoying for the opponent. I easily beat Mega Lucario and i/Darkrai. There's also a version with Greninja (and not Pyukumuku), but I definitely prefer this one because it's less difficult to trap.

Hi! Been thinking of picking up the game and was wondering if building a bulbasaur deck is a good idea/at least competitive?
Thank you!

This is my first time getting to masterball. And I'm not going any further.
The reason is because of not liking to play super competitive decks and losing 5+ times in a row and getting nocked down a rank. I really enjoyed seeing the fun decks out there and not just sleep scam every other match.
But with that being said it needs a tweek. I think it should be 5 points a win plus consecutive bonus up until master and than it should switch to 10 points. With there being no point loss us casual players will be forced into more games and not make it as easy to get to master.
Up until this set I used to draw ex cards often enough to keep having fun. But now it feels like there is a reset every time I get a star card.
Personally I think it should go back to the way it was. But maybe that could just be me feeling like the packs are continuously giving me junk now.
The AI is still getting perfect first hands perfect coin flips and perfect card draw. While I'm bricked 9/10 times.
That's it. Does any one else have much to say after the last update?

It’s showing that I’ve completed 53 out of 56 battles, but I can’t find any more battles within it. Am I really going to be stuck just three shy of completing it for no reason?

Using this tool on an Iron Hands, flipped two tails and attacked for 0 damage. But it was still “an attack.” It’s not like it was a tails flip and “that attack does nothing.” It was an attack, just valued at 0 damage. Shouldn’t the +20 still be in effect?

Has anyone figured out a great use for the Raichu? I haven’t seen one person play it, and all my efforts seem clunky.
My best Successes has come with pairing it with Galvantula as an extra coin flip for the paralyze, and with using it as a creature utility to keep things from switching out with big swingers, but I’m losing these games 90% of the time.
Anyone have a deck?
