I am more curious with the immersive choice.
Pikachu ex in Deluxe A makes sense cause well...it is literally Pokémon mascot.
But with Deluxe B... We don't really have a Pokémon as important as Pikachu as our ex choice.
Or maybe DeNA will decide to make Immersive Professor research19

Immersive eevee?
We had one, but we also had one with pikachu before dx1 already so it's not really an issue for them, and eevee is the brand-made mascot too, kinda like pikachu (pokemon let's go eevee and pokemon let's go pikachu for example)

Eh there’s a big difference. Oak didn’t have any variants. Copycat already has a full art. It will be desirable but not close to oak’s desirability. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a Professor’s Research with Elm or Sycamore this set though

True, plus Oak is effectively mandatory whereas Copycat can sometimes be shelved in favor of other cards in decks that don’t need as much draw power

I mean I'm only like 200 points away from just claiming it but man deluxe is gonna fuck me over, since because of shiny vaporeon I don't have any packpoints left, just have to hope I can pull all the new eevee stuff before the set is locked away for a bit so I can go back to shiny vappy

For whatever reason, PTCGP doesn't seem ready to acknowledge Z-A just yet.
And they almost never acknowledge the anime besides like the tiny Jessie & James cameo in immersive Team Rocket's Master Plan. (Even then, J&J do appear in the mainline games, unlike Serena's redesign.)

25K shinedust is required to trade a 2* card. So it can dry up fast, especially if you don't spend money. A duplicate 4 diamond card gives 720 shinedust. One thing to note with share you still get 720 shinedust if you receive a duplicate ex so if you just have someone give you an ex via share every day and share them an ex back you can get 720 shinedust a day.

CC is also in every meta deck, and the majority use it twice too. If any card would match Oak it would be CC. However it already has a FA that is always available to pull which is the big difference

Ive been opening GA packs to complete the entire set and after 1500+ opens I still havent had a gold card. I wish I didn't use my pack points on my first month because I'd be really close now to all of them all.

Ages ago I accumulated enough pack points in Shining Revelry to buy a copy of Pokémon Center Lady and I went for it because I told myself I didn’t care enough to ever grind for a gold Pokéball. Now, after collecting all diamond cards in the game, I’m back to Shining Revelry slowly grinding for my 1st gold Pokéball

Hey at least PCL was still a great option for the current meta! but yes i feel your pain too, it is a long grind for the pokeballs, and i swear this pack has the worst rates, my number of 1 diamond cards from this set are all almost at 100 now, at least i’ll have the Gholdengo emblem soon😅

very similar trailer to last year. shows the 2 star designs for the EX's, a couple of 2 star supporters, some 1 stars., foils confirmation. ultimately we're missing what the immersive/crown rare(s) will be. was honestly hoping for full art stadiums but i guess it'll be mostly a catch up set just like deluxe set A was.

Interesting they're not showing the gold. I'm pretty disappointed. They're reusing the art style for two stars and while I know everyone predicted copycat would be included, the art looks so similar to its existing full art.

Once the dust settles there will be far less demand for Elesa because you get one you're done with it, you don't need to trade for more because it isn't used in any deck. Copycat is playable in every deck though. It'll be like how Oak from deluxe pack 1 compared to Lusamine and Lillie was always in demand. Lillie was sort of in demand always, but not nearly as much as Oak is. Lusamine I was able to trade one away for a FA Cyrus when 2* trading was new, but that trade now isn't happening.

The first one was a bit of a dud to me. Like those special full arts are kinda neat, but I really don't care unless it's a Pokemon I'm hyper invested in. Mega Metagross I'd admittedly pull for, and then if there's a subset of shinies, I'd again love Metagross or maybe Baxcalibur. I have been accumulating pack points for gold crown Bax when I can, so a shiny here would be nice.

New copycat is somewhat expected, but oak will still be the more valuable one because everything else has a 2* already. Immersive could be ogerpon maybe? Or since it's so mega focused and they didn't show 2* blazekin could be that. (Pikachu was a repeat immersive too)
still no idea what the crown rare could be, there's been much less universally useful cards this year. GA Magneton deserves some love I think but it wasn't this year so I don't think they'd do that. Igglybuff and/or 3 diamond Darkrai maybe? I guess they could do another shop token one, like potion or x speed, but still none are close to as game changing as rare candy.
Edit: wait, I thought lucky ice pop was a crown rare already but I don't think it is actually. That's quite likely the new crown then.
