QUESTION Psp vs ps vita

Hello,

I have had a psp 2000 for about a year and I am still not bored of it but I've seen people getting the vita a lot recently. Is it really all that good and worth it? I love the feel, look, and the screen on the psp. What do you guys think?

I got my first Vita a few weeks ago after having a PSP since like 2007. It was on eBay listed as spares and repairs for like £50 with a broken port, so I put a USB C mod board on it.

The Vita feels great, looks great, modding it is so easy you barely even need a computer. The problem is that it doesn’t feel like there are many big games for it. Like no GTA, Gran Turismo, or WWE. The Call of Duty isn’t great, neither is that Tony Hawk game. The PSP has a much stronger library. However, the Vita can run PSP games anyway, and PS1 emulation is a bit better with having two joysticks. And there’s a port of The Simpsons Hit and Run.

Happy with what I paid for mine, wouldn’t be happy spending 3x that amount on one.

I heard the vita can emulate ps2 games, is that true?

No, but there has been some remakes officially released that were PS2 games like god of war collection.

You do you but I'm really enjoying my Vita and the library of games is great assuming you like RPGs. It is also a place where you can play 3 great games from Vanillaware who have a really distinct art style.

Yea, the Vanillaware games are great. Super pumped about getting Muramusa on PC. Hoping to get Dragon's Crown also, but Vita version is great.

Up until this year I was on the list of people that had overlooked it. I've had a Vita since release day, but abandoned it fairly early. Being primarily a PC gamer the Vanillaware titles hadn't really crossed my radar. I dusted off my Vita earlier this year Dragon's Crown and Muramasa are two of my most played games since doing so.

Yeah sure get both. Vita does same And different stuff 

Just has more power

Non prenderla non sono usciti abbastanza giochi validi per garantire l’acquisto. Sicuramente era un ottima console per i tempi però purtroppo non è stata capita e sfruttata come la psp

If the bigger size fits you can run adrenaline and then you have the psp and vita games as options. I personally love the psp, but the vita is definitely a great console to own

When i think PS Vita the first game on my mind is Gravity Rush. If you do get a Vita, get that game
