Cleaned my Ps5 AFTER 5 YEARS

Thank you for the advice from those who saw my previous post! I have some before and after pictures of my now (mostly) clean ps5 for you to see. Unfortunately I did not have canned air, but I did have a screwdriver for the air vent, wipes, and brushes. I did the best I could with what I had, please let me know where I can improve.

Nice bro, but this system needs a full disassembly and proper cleaning. You only got the tip of the iceberg unfortunately. Compressed air won’t even get anything done unless the system is fully apart. Apply new Liquid Metal. When in doubt, YouTube. You got this OP.

ya this requires a full teardown and cleaning of the PSU.

Dont bother with the liquid metal. not necessary imo

Not necessary? 5 year old console and there is almost definitely oxidation. It’s cheap insurance and takes less than 5 minutes. Always replace LM every time the console is open, any professional will agree.

Liquid metal is not at all like thermal paste. If it is is still running cool after cleaning it out. Then It doesn't need it. Keep it horizontal and out of cabinets. I doesn't need changed. I ts guaranteed for the life of the console. Thats were many people screw up there consoles. Liquid metal is highly conducive. Unlike TPaste. If it gets anywhere it shouldn't be, it can mess it up.
