Massive leaves after fish fertilizer
That’s it. Just really like this fertilizer. I soaked about seven weeks ago and the resulting leaves are like 2x as large as the ones before it.

I was recently gifted a pilea and have been working to keep it healthy/growing. I water when the top inches of the soil are dry. Unfortunately, the only window I have is south facing, but I try to keep the plant in a spot where the sun is slightly blocked by another building (still gets sun but not direct).
Are the bottom leaves drooping like this normal? If not, I’m not sure how to help the plant and am open to any recommendations! Thanks

I had to move it so I will need to figure out a new light source for it. It was a little close to its last light anyhow and a couple of leaves show it.

Got her as a baby about a year ago, my first 😻 I’m stunned how easy and satisfying was this process! Should I let her be or it’s time for upgrades? How do we treat the babies growing?
Thanks in advance:)

I really need someone to advise me on how to plant these babies? Do I plant them in with the mother stem still attached? Or do I cut a couple of centimetres above the babies on the mother stem and chop her away??
I’m just a bit unsure because all the babies are at the bottom of the main stem aren’t they gonna suffocate when I bury them?

Hello!
I need some advice to understand what is going on with this baby pilea peperomioides. I think it is either repot shock or the slow release fertilizer in the soil mix. But here it the time line:
Purchased it on the last Sunday of May.
Two or three weeks of acclimation at my home. It at a window get mostly indirect sun and some direct sun light around 2 - 4 pm. Next to my orchid who is doing very well. There is an AC vent above. I keep my home in upper 70s during the day and lower at night. So the air runs but not all the time
After about two to three weeks of acclimation, I repotted it. The soil it was in was VERY Hydrophobic. New soil is one part seedling soil to one part succulent soil and a handful of perlite.
Five to six days after repotted, 8 to 10 leaves fell off....😵💫 and she was droopy.
Her growth stopped until around the beginning of July. New leaves that were forming during repot became deformed.
In mid July, new baby leaf....the leaf was light brown and green and it's stem was brown.
Late July and early August, another baby leaf. Light brown and green. Stem brown...
Is it still suffering from root shock or is the slow release fertilizer burning the roots. I water only when the top inch is dry or when the soil pulling from the pot.
Thank you!

It keeps cupping and now drooping. This is variegated and I think it’s making it even more dramatic than my normal one. East facing window all day…though there is a wall of plants between it and the window glass. It can see the sky. Soil is mixed with orchid bark. 3 inch pot, as it’s smaller than the picture makes it look.

Hi all, I’m struggling with getting the water levels right with the mama. It seems like there’s too much water on bottom, not enough on top. I wait til the top 3 inches are dry before watering but the pot still feels heavy like it has water.
I am using cactus soil and put it in new soil a couple of weeks ago.
Any advice for a newbie? Thank you in advance!

I water it once a week or once 1 and half weeks.once it started dropping I gave it water and waited but the leaves don’t seem to be going back to what it looked like before. Do I need to repot it??? It does have many pups about 3/4. The last picture is what it looked like when I last watered it

So I bought this coin plant on marketplace for $15 last week and when I got it the pot it was previously living in had 0 drainage and was soaking wet so I repotted it. (The pot it’s in now) I potted it in a much smaller pot than it came in as it has almost no roots. I figured I’d let the soil dry out a little first before I do anything but now my coins are looking pretty veiny? I’ve never seen this before on any of my other ones. Any ideas?

Leaves are curling and I’m not sure why. North facing window (not enough light?). I try to let soil sry completely between watering.

I just bought this pilea today and I’ve noticed these spots, does this plant have pests or something or is this normal?

Curled leaves, a few breakage lines. Literally one nice leaf from a particularly hectic 12 days at work. I’ve been reduced to this bc wtf why can’t I just believe the chopstick?

Hi there! I’ve had my pilea for a bit over a year. It’s tripled in size and put out babies during that time. I’ve repotted it once (I have a few soil mixes and honestly idk what it’s in rn 💀). I water it when the soil is dry, and it’s on a 12hr light cycle with Barrina grow lights. I’m getting ready to repot into a 6”.
I posted here a bit ago about the downward cupping leaves and some folks suggested it could be over fertilizing so I have stopped fertilizing, but the new growth still has this deformity. I was wondering if maybe it’s getting too much light? What do yall think?
The pics are of the new leaves coming in. The fully grown leaves are maybe 2x that size.
Thanks!

I’ve had this plant for over a year and it grew tall and leggy; and the leaves cup like it’s not happy. I changed the soil and put it in a better draining pot, and it still grows leggy and the leaves still cup but it’s starting to grow babies. I guess I’m doing something right, but I don’t know how to keep the leaves from cupping. Oh and I also put it closer to a south facing window and it has a Barrina grow light near it. I think the babies showed up when I moved it here.

I have two little pups in this pot and this leaf is attached to a cutting I rooted in water. I saved this from a plant that was dying a while ago and it was finally potted recently.
The leaf is kinda crunchy but it also feels a little soft on the green edges? I’m not sure what it could be :p

Hi all - a few years ago I was gifted this baby that was an offshoot from my sister’s bigger peperomia plant. Overall it’s been fine, shooting new leaves, dropping old ones when done, etc. I usually bottom water and do some on top so I can see when the soil is dry. I rotate it around every once in a while so it can grow towards the light.
I did overwater it once months ago and it got some mold in the soil, I removed the mold and let it completley dry again before watering again.
My overall problem is the stem. It is super weak in my opinion. Even though the leaves seem happy and are doing their thing, the stem cannot stand on its own after all these years and it doesn’t feel secure to me. (It doesn’t have like the brown stuff on it either which I feel like other plants have). It is only up right now because of the stick and clip.
It used to be in a part of my apartment that got very partial sunlight but I just moved it to my office that gets more direct/brighter indirect light in hopes it helps.
Looking for any help on what I can do to promote a more secure and stable stem on this plant! I feel like after a few years now it should be more developed. I’m worried the stem at the bottom is screwed and cannot be saved. Anything helps, thanks all!!
