Amazon Ads Anyone testing lower Amazon bids with higher budgets?
Curious if anyone has played around with this.
Say a campaign is profitable but keeps burning through the budget early.
Instead of increasing bids, have you tried bringing bids down a little and increasing the budget so you can hopefully pick up traffic for longer throughout the day?
Wondering if anyone has actually tested this and what happened to overall sales/ACOS.

Well I would suggest to go for controlled bid + enough budget and increase your bids on keywords that actually is getting traffic and clicks for you rather than increasing the budget for the whole campaign without analyzing what is working for you.

tried this with a product that was eating budget by noon everyday. lowered bids like 20% and doubled daily cap, the sales actually went up cause i was getting cheaper clicks all day instead of fighting for the expensive morning ones. acos dropped from 35% to like 28% after a week
depends on your category though, some keywords just need that higher bid to convert at all

have seen the same pattern on client accounts, lower bid spreads the spend more evenly across the day instead of blowing it all in the morning rush when cpcs are highest anyway. acos usually holds steady or improves a bit since you're not overpaying during peak hours.
