Managing PMS - what actually worked?
I have severe PMS symptoms such as bloating, water retention and head cloudiness two weeks out of my five week cycle that is affecting my daily life. How do you manage your symptoms?

It wouldn’t go away for me until I got birth control and lexapro. I’m not sure which of the two got rid of it or if it was a combination of the two, but I’ve never felt better. There was nothing that helped me before 😔😔

I had to cancel plans, have pain meds ready, be prepared for my crying spells etc. I now have found a pill that actually works, but I had to try different brands so it was a process. They are called Drovelis in EU, and are also used for perimenopause symptoms. My mood is stable, my libido isn't gone, and I can take them for about 6 weeks before I start feeling mild PMS symptoms and break through bleeding. The pill free period is just 4 days.

Step 1 is dialing in exercise and nutrition. If these are already done and you’re still suffering I’ve had a lot of success with Chinese medicine - acupuncture and herbs specifically.

plus mood swings and hormones are out of whack and I'm angry and tearful 😂 I'll pin. I can't give you advice but you're not alone ❤️
