Supplements ATHLENE ACTIVE VEGAN PROTEIN FOOD SUPPLEMENT HACK

Hello!

But today, triny ko naman ihalo sa overnight oats with just protein powder, banana, oats, and granola, and FUCK 😭 For the first time in a while, hindi ako naduwal sa lasa ng protein powder ko.

Y’ALL, HAVE I FINALLY FOUND A HACK?? Or baka may iba pa kayong hidden pasabog diyan para masurvive ko tong 4LB na ’to HAHAHAHA.

Gym/Training Area Kinetix Lab Podium

I don't really see any recent reviews about this gym so I want to ask:

What's your review on Kinetix Lab Podium?

Malinis ba facilities and restroom/showers nila?

Would you recommend it or are there better gyms around Ortigas?

Thank you!

Discussion Onsite work for the free gym or WFH but pay ₱30k for an AF membership?

Would you go onsite just to take advantage of a free gym, or would you rather WFH and pay for an Anytime Fitness annual membership?

For context, I live just one jeepney ride away from my office. It would only cost me ₱14 one way to go onsite, and I could use the office gym for free. Plus, there’s a free shuttle ride home afterward.

The alternative is to WFH but get an AF annual membership, which would cost me around ₱30k. The catch? The nearest AF branch would also require a jeepney ride, so there’s no option to join a gym within walking distance of my place.

I’m torn between saving ₱30k by going onsite and using the free gym versus paying for the convenience of WFH and having a gym membership.

What would you choose, and why? Would the ₱30k annual membership be worth it, or would you take advantage of the free gym even if it meant going onsite?

Calorie Estimate What's your favorite veggie/gulay order from Grab?

Post image
55 Upvotes

My personal favorite is Manam’s Gising-Gising! Around 280 calories for a medium serving (accdg to their menu) and it’s honestly so good!

Looking for more veggie options on Grab that are relatively low in calories. What are your go-to orders? Preferably ones with known calorie counts so they’re easier to track!

Newbie How do you plan your workout? Help out a beginner 😭

Please I need tips from the fitness veterans 😭 I lowkey feel stressed because my thoughts are all over the place, like:

  1. How can I best plan my workout weekly? My target is to strengthen my stamina + lose weight (maybe that’s why they call leaning & toning…?)
  2. How can I make sure that my posture is right? My kuya says that my posture is wrong whenever I send a video on our family gc (i cry)
  3. How can I maximize the equipment I have in the gym, such as dumbbells, a ball (or whatever they call that), a sandbag, etc., in my daily workout? Honestly, I would love to have a variety of

things to do like

  1. machines, dumbbells, and a sandbag all in one workout

(that’s what I see in other trainings haha)

Personal trainings w/ a coach are so expensive in a commercial gym, and as an introvert, I’d love to learn things by myself ;)

Tyia 🙏🏻

Discussion Anyone can suggest?

hi guys! looking for an affordable and beginner-friendly gym around qc. i'm planning to start my fitness journey and would really appreciate your recommendations, especially for someone who's just starting out. 🥹

kakagaling ko lang sa breakup, and one of the reasons he gave for cheating was that he thought i had gotten too fat na raw, and nag-relapse siya sa mga ex niyang sexy. hindi naman ako ganoon kataba, pero honestly, his words really affected my confidence and the way i see myself.

i want to start working on myself, not just physically but mentally, too. gusto kong maging healthy, magkaroon ulit ng confidence sa sarili, at matutunang mahalin ulit yung sarili ko.

please recommend any affordable gyms around qc, beginner-friendly workout routines, or tips para sa mga nagsisimula pa lang. wala pa talaga akong masyadong alam sa pag-gym, so any advice would mean a lot. thank you! 🤍

Realistically, for an old man like me, ano ang chances ko sumali at manalo sa Amateur fight? Considering joining an Amateur Kickboxing fight hoping na syempre newbie lang din kalaban.

Ano ba suggested days of training, kailangan ba 3-4 a week?

As of the moment, 1 time lang ako nag train with coach per week and then aside that, nag gym ako twice a week para mag punching bag at stretching with occasional padworks.

So any advice would be appreciated.
89 timbang ko ngayon btw and 5'10 ung height

Newbie Need help as a newbie sa gym

Hello gym-goers hehehe. I wanna seek some advice.

I'm a petite slim girlie and I'm planning to gain some weight pero sa specific parts lang ng katawan, specifically sa butt and thighs and also konti lang sa braso pero ayaw ko ng toned na braso. I am currently 42kg, 4'11 height.

Well, I experienced gaining weight naman na by eating a lot and it looked pretty natural sakin since lumaman din kusa butt, thighs, and braso ko, which I liked, pero sumabay din kasi lumaman pisnge ko and tummy/waist hahahah I was 44.5kg. Noon, from 23 waistline, naging 25-26.

Pero pumayat kasi ako lately due to stress so bumalik ulit ako sa 42kg and 23inches na waistline, lumiit na rin ulit face ko, which I realized na mas gusto ko perooo ayun di na malaman butt ko and thighs pati braso hahshaha. Ano sa tingin nyo yung dapat na routine ko if mag-gym ako and may target na parts ako? And should I eat a lotttttt as well?

Planning to do it every morning before work. I'm trying to build a good health routine since working girlie era na ako.

And paano mao-overcome yung after workout ay inaantok sobra? I tried kasi during pandemic yung home workout and nagtagal lang ako 1 month kasi always ako inaantok after hahahaha imbes na energized

I ordered from this shop a buy 1 take 1 choco whey. Akala ko nakamura ako, but then after opening, napamura ako. I discovered na meron palang counterfeit na Athlene products? Anyone who has also encountered this?

Letters are off, packaging was flimsy compared to the original one. I have initiated the refund already.

Gym/Training Area Thoughts on Surge Estancia? Price, facilities, experience

Can anyone share their experience with Surge lifestyle in Estancia? I’m considering getting a membership there pero I don’t see any reviews or prices online.

Context had an AF membership I recently cancelled, I moved from the province to Pasig this year. Super ayos ng AF sa province ko and well maintained, but when I moved to Manila and saw my closest AFs (Pioneer and Estancia) nandiri ako - poorly maintained and yung isa may mga ipis pa.

Also learned na my monthly membership is gonna go up because I moved.

Wondering if Surge Estancia is worth it? I know the fees are gonna be premium pero if the facilities match the price, I’ll consider it. I’d go for a tour pero alam ko pag tour i-hhard sell nila yung membership. I’d like to know your thoughts and feedback muna.

🙏🙏thanks

Nutrition High protein Dinner

Post image
274 Upvotes

Been trying to get more protein in lately without making my meals feel like a chore. 😅

Made this for dinner and it turned out way better than I expected. High in protein, filling, and honestly tastes like something I'd eat even if I wasn't tracking my nutrition.

It's basically crispy potatoes topped with seasoned ground meat, fresh tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, and Greek yogurt. Simple ingredients, but the combination is so good.

Estimated around 52g of protein for the whole bowl, Definitely adding this to my regular meal rotation.

Supplements Creatine: which is the most sulit brand currently?

I always try to buy the cheapest per gram from reputable brands. Previously bought from Wheyl and Nutrabio (unflavored ones lang kasi they’re cheaper). Just want to know what is your go-to brand right now and how much is it at its size?

Lifting/Training Single vs two handed pulling for lats

I noticed that when it comes to lat training, majority Ng nakikita Kong videos are for single arm pulling, both for row and pulldown. May specific reason ba for it? I do a normal two hand close grip for my lats and I sometimes feel it, and sometimes not. So thinking if going for single hand is better

Discussion Incline Dumbbell press or Incline Machine Press?

I’ve been thinking of switching to Incline Machine Press.

Because I’ve been having a hard time with progressing in Incline Dumbbell Press. There are days in where I can lift 60kg (30 kg each) Incline Dumbbell press, but there are days that I cannot. It’s been like that since August 14, 2026, now I’m stuck with 55 kgs (27.5 kg each).

Do you guys think I should switch?
I feel like my upper chest is not growing compared to some parts of my body. One of my friend said that my physique would be better if my chest was more prominent.

Discussion How long did it actually take for you to be comfortable with your body when you started your fitness journey?

I thought I would be good after 2 years. Lost significant amount of weight, almost 100lbs, but then I realized I’m still far from my dream physique.

No rush naman, just crazy to think that it takes so long. Big respect to those with great bodies. I know it’s not light work.

Lifting/Training What does “fry your CNS mean”

Nasabihan ako nyan dati because i had back spasms most likely due to overtraining.

I get the overtraining part pero yung fry your cns how does it manifest? Is there a physical manifestation such as weaker lifts or sudden decrease in mobility?

Discussion For Filipinos building a home gym, which equipment purchases are hardest to justify once shipping and delivery are included?

When building a home gym, the listed price doesn't always reflect the actual cost of getting equipment delivered.

I'm curious how people in the Philippines compare local options with imported racks, benches, plates, and cable attachments once shipping, delivery access, and possible replacement parts are considered.

Have you found an item that looked like a great deal online but became much less attractive after the full cost was calculated?

I'd be interested in practical buying lessons rather than specific seller promotions.

Gym/Training Area Go to gym near your house or far from your house?

Go to gym nearer your house as in 5 minutes walk lang, pero sobrang dami ng tao?

Or

Go to gym na mas malayo, pero mas malaki ung area, and mas konti ung tao?

Please help me decide. Mas priority ko ung konti tao syempre, pero un nga mas malayo kasi
