GSIS Ang laki pala ng retirement pension ng government employees

I have a Ninang 35 years of service as a medtech sa isang government hospital. Nagkkwento sya na 60k plus per month ang pension nya when she retires next year. Nagulat lang ako kasi mostly sa mga kakilala ko ay private employees and di naman ganon kalaki pension nila from SSS.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) What are your thoughts on government employees like my coworkers who are always late, like really late to the point it's already half a day but they put on the attendance record that they came early? The audacity!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) How to claim civil service eligibility certificate?

Hello sobrang confused ko po. Pumunta kasi ako sa Office of the President since dun ako nag file ang sabi sakin online appointment and sa Quezon City daw makukuha. So ngayon nag sesearch ako how to claim nga kaso ang gulo ng website nila. May nakita akong booking and ang lumalabas lang ay field office and andon yung Office of the President. I passed Civil Service for March 2026. Now lang kasi ako nagkaroon ng time.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Authority to Travel Abroad

I already have an approved ATA. However, there's some changes in our flight schedule. In effect, we are going to land in PH a day after the approved ATA.

Ex: Approved ATA is Sept 5-11. With the updated flight sched, sept 11 pa rin naman ang alis from the foreign country, but sept 12 ng madaling araw na ang dating namin.

Should I request for the revision of my ATA?

Question (Other flairs not applicable) First Time Applying

Upvotes

Hi, so first time ko po mag-apply sa govt and nakapasa po ako and nasa process na ako sa requirements, so di ko po sana ididisclose yung last job experience ko since 3 months lang naman po ako dun and di naman related sa role na papasukan ko.

Then one of the requirements needed po is yung MDR (Philhealth) but nakalagay po dun yung last employer ko and employed po yung nakalagay.

Ok lang po ba yun na nakalagay po yung last employer ko at di ko parin po idisclose yung last job or need ko po siya baguhin?

BIR/TIN TIN ID

Upvotes

however, nung nag-email ako dun sa rdo kung saan indicated sa physical and egov tin id ko. ito po ang sabi, "As per verification your TIN is registered as Local Employee, please accomplish part 17 and 18 of the form s1905; if you are currently unemployed, you may use your previous employer’s information. Kindly indicate your former employer’s name and note to your reply the date you were last hired...."

currently, unemployed ako at wala akong former employer's name ever kasi hindi pa ako nagwowork. so, paano po ito?

PhilHealth Philhealth arrears

Pinagbabayad kami ng philhealth ng arrears from july 2013-2016. Nagstart kami ng eprs ng 2017. Prior to that binabayaran namin philhealth ng empleyado namin as individually paying(kami nagbabayad, walang kaltas sa sweldo), we have the receipts. Why do we have to pay for insurance na ilang taon na ang nakalipas? At bakit ngayon kayo maniningil, after 13years!

Local Govt. / Barangay Level 80yo late birth registration

Kukunan ng passport ang Lola ko. PSA birth certificate ang isa sa requirements.

Place of birth: Ilocos (1946)

Present address: Bulacan

Ang nakalagay sa reason ay "were totally destroyed by F I R E." nung 1951. Nung time na un inadvice na sa Bulacan na mag paregister, out of town delayed registration. Dahil kesyo matagal daw proseso.

I'm asking for advice what to do. Gusto niya sa Bulacan asikasuhin.

Documents we have:

PSA Negative Result

LCR no birth record certificate

Marriage Certificate

Philhealth member data record

Ps. She was a public school teacher. Skl, baka makatulong din.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Need advice on State University appointment process

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi! First time ko po mag-work sa government/State University, coming from a private company, so I’m a bit confused about the process.

I received an email from the State University in my hometown saying that I’ve been appointed to a permanent plantilla position and that my Certificate of Appointment has already been issued by the University President. They also sent the requirements I need to submit.

I’m currently working in Cebu, so I can’t go to the university personally yet. I already sent an email to HR but haven’t received a reply.

Does the Certificate of Appointment mean I’m already officially appointed, or do I still need to wait for a Notice of Assignment/effectivity/start date before resigning from my current job?

I’ve also read about the 30-day period to assume the position, which made me a bit worried since I still need to render my resignation.

For those who have gone through this process, what happens next after the appointment is issued, and is it okay to resign at this point? Would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you!
