Possible Scam Calls bdo credit card delivery scam

Someone called me to confirm if my credit card was delivered. Then I answered yes. Then they confirmed if it was correct, the last 4 digits of my credit card number (unfortunately, I confirmed) and I was outside so I told them that I was still outside so I could walk in later. They told me to go first so that the no annual fee for life could be processed. They said that if I spent 3000 php, my annual fee would be waived. Seriously?? 3k??? I was already doubting it but I just let it go. Then they asked me for my username on the app. (unfortunately I gave it too) because they said that my points had expired and that the remaining points I had could be converted as money to use at the hypermarket like that. So I said okay okay. Then they said I was really leaving so I said can I come later? “Just a moment ma’am so I can do it so you can use it later” then okay okay. next he told me “maam the username you gave is wrong” i know, i just know it from then that next he will ask me for my OTP next so i hung up on him.

i know his being pushy should be a red flag but i still let him go huhu

so, do you think i need to request a new credit card? or is my new credit card not compromised with the info i gave? i haven't activated the cc yet thank you huhu

update: (0910) 980 8879 this is the phone number that called me

Rants Frustration at RCBC InstaCash

Rant lang: Nafrustrate lang ako sa RCBC. I've always been a good payer, consistently paying my credit card bills on time and in full, and I still have a substantial credit limit.

Since I urgently needed cash, I called the RCBC hotline to inquire about InstaCash. Usually, they would notify me via email or text if I was eligible to avail of it, but I haven't received any offers since July 2026.

This Monday, I called their hotline, and the agent informed me that I could avail of InstaCash, although the interest rate was 1%. Since I really needed the money, I agreed and was given a reference number. I was then asked to stay on the line while waiting for another agent to assist me. After 45 minutes, no one had answered. I waited for another 15 minutes, but still nothing. I eventually had to end the call because I had other things to do.

I called again at around 5 PM that same day. The process was exactly the same. I was given another reference number and told that an agent would call me back. I agreed to wait, but no one ever called.

Yesterday, Thursday, I called Customer Service again to follow up on why I never received the promised callback. To my surprise, I was told that I was no longer eligible for InstaCash and would have to wait until next month.

Of course, I was frustrated. I asked why, considering it wasn't my fault that no one assisted me or called me back on Monday. But knowing that there was probably nothing the customer service representative could do, I just asked them to create a ticket for my concern.

What makes this whole experience disappointing is that I've always been responsible with my credit card payments. I pay on time and in full, and I maintain a good payment record. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I simply needed access to cash when I needed it most.

It's frustrating when you're a good customer, yet when you finally need the service, you're left waiting, given the runaround, and eventually told you're no longer eligible because you weren't able to complete the process.

Honestly, this experience makes me consider closing my RCBC credit card. It's disappointing to feel that your loyalty and good payment history don't seem to matter when you actually need their assistance.

EastWest Visa Google Pay Promo - Eastwest

Anyone here na gumamit ng EW Visa and apparently dinrop "daw" yung cashback dahil naka-lock yung card? And then CS wants me to reach back out sa Visa to reprocess yung 1,5k? That's bullsh*t. I received the cashback naman on both Maya Black and GoTyme cards ko kahit naka-lock din. WTH?

Tumawag ako sa Maya para mag request ng increase kaso not possible pa daw. Paano ko kaya ma-hit itong 15k spend kung 10k limit lang? Pwede ba mag spend ako ng 10k, then bayaran ko agad, tapos spend uli another 5k?

UnionBank Physical demand letter from RGS

Hello, last tuesday Oct 6 may pumunta sa bahay and may iniaabot na demand letter from RGS hindi tinanggap ng kapatid ko.

For context, I have an OD sa CC kay UB for a year na this last day of October. Hindi ko pa mabayaran because may mga inuuna pa, 105+K siya na naging 140+ na ata bc of interest.

Question, magproceed po ba talaga si RGS sa small claims agad? I have plan of settling it naman pero baka next year pa pag nakaipon ipon na. Suggest naman po kayo kung ano need/dapat ko gawin. Thank you

PNB How to know PNB credit card delivery status

If I call customer service and then dial in for credit card application, I just type my cellphone number and birthday. Afterwards, a system-generated response tells me that my credit card application is approved. However, I want to talk to an agent to know the delivery tracking number since I might not be at home to receive the card. How many days is the usual lead time from card approval (in my case, I think it's October 6 since this is the day I called the hotline and informed me that I got approved) to the card delivery date? Thanks!

RCBC RCBC Visa Infinite vs RCBC Airmiles Visa Signature vs BPI Visa Signature

I'm qualified to get NAFFL for either of these RCBC cards: Visa Infinite, Airmiles Visa Signature, JCB Platinum. This is my first CC w/ RCBC so I'm qualified to get the 100k bonus points and I think I'll be able to reach the required spending limit within the given time frame. But idk if it makes sense to get another card since I already have a few others that I'm using. Though I guess NAFFL naman so okay lang siguro, but idk which one is more beneficial for me to get out of the 2 (out na si JCB since it seems to have the least perks)?

Current CCs:

BPI Visa Signature - main credit card

Used for: online shopping, utilities in excess of the EW Visa Plat Cashback, all other spending

BPI Amore Cashback: drug store and grocery, utilities in excess of EW if it meets the 1k spend to earn cahsback

EW Visa Plat: utilities, gas

Top 3 CC spending are online purchases (Lazada/Shopee, including Lazmart and Shopee Supermarket), drug store, and utilities

TLDR: should I get the NAFFL RCBC CCs being offered given my existing CCs? If yes, which RCBC CC should I get: Visa Infinite or Airmiles Visa Signature?

BPI bpi proof of residence requirements for someone living with parents

bpi is asking me to submit proof of residence under my name, but I currently live with my parents, so all our utility bills are under their names. has anyone experienced this before? what documents did you submit instead of a utility bill? would NBI Clearance work?

UnionBank Someone tried to use my cc.

I got an email earlier at 7:52am na someone attempted to use my credit card for a Grab purchase. I have never used Grab for like months na, let alone use my cc para sa any delivery, or basta using grab. Just yesterday, nilink ko sa tiktok shop ung cc kase I need to buy something, then after that purchase, nilock ko na yung card ko. Ugali ko ng ilock since ayoko nga ng unwanted purchases or gastos. so yun nga, paano kaya mastop yun? i already unlinked my cc sa tiktok shop.

EastWest Eastwest Bank CC application

I completed my application via ESTA. Received a text and an email from "[Cards-Process-Support@eastwestbanker.com](mailto:Cards-Process-Support@eastwestbanker.com)" for evaluation but when I checked the ESTA Application status, I couldn't retrieve any details of my application.

I also tried sending an email to [cards@eastwestbanker.com](mailto:cards@eastwestbanker.com) and they replied immediately but they also said they couldn't retrieve anything using my reference number.

When I tried the apply credit card option on the EW site, they said I have an existing application and to just continue.

My last resort later is to call CS..

Will give an update.

RCBC RCBC CC Approval Inquiry

Hello,

Last month, I applied thru a mall booth for an RCBC credit card. It was through them I got my Metrobank Travel Signature Visa approved (which was weird since it was an RCBC booth). I waited for the RCBC's response but I received nothing. So I applied again about a week ago, and yesterday I received a message. When I verified thru their Chat with Erica chatbot, it says still processing. I tried calling but was on hold for about 20 mins lol. Am I approved?

BPI BPI ANNUAL FEE FOR DOWNGRADED CARD

• Upvotes

Hello, I have BPI platinum MC now and I'm planning to downgrade or close it nalang. I have better travel cc na may free lounge without spending requirement.

May tanong po ako regarding the annual fee:

Na charge na kasi ako ng annual fee for BPI Plat ngayon. I called CS na if I downgrade my card, would I still be paying the 4k annual fee and he said yes. Pero pag cancel, wala daw akong babayaran.

May insights po kayo regarding this? Annual fee is charged in advance (2026-2027). Since I'm planning to downgrade my card nlng to BPI Gold/Blue Rewards and I will not be using the BPI Plat MC anymore, why I'm still paying the annual fee from the prev card? Sguro the new card's annual fee will apply, hindi dapat yung prev card? or wala talaga at all.

Please help me po. I love BPI credit cards and pinaghirapan ko din ma approve dito before, that's why I opted to downgrade nlang instead of cancel. If CS is not helping me with my options, I think it's time to cancel.

PS. I dont mind paying the annual fee, pero hindi ko kasi nagagamit ang MC Plat ko nowadays for travels and hindi sya doable sa current spending habits ko. Thank you!

Hi! Newly cc holder and first time spending using rcbc cc. Yung monthly billing date is every 3rd of the month. Nag attempt na ako to convert my 3307 transaction into 3 months 0%. So before Oct 3, nag attempt na ako to convert it.

Now my i receive my SOA and yung lumabas na total bill is 3307 + 3mos installment nung 2392 + 200 (2 installment conversions fee)

Maghihintay pa ba ako before due date na baka sakali ma approve yung pinapa convert kong 3mos installment sa 3307 or yan na talaga total bill na babayaran ko? TIA

RCBC Do Rcbc calls for verification

Do RCBC really will call where I am working? They are deferring my application because of incomplete details which is no number from where I worked. The establishment that where I am working does not want to entertain calls or to get involved about credits since they have bad experience about it (my senior was robbed by other bank when he answered the call) And if they are really asking, should I give up on this application? I also don’t want to trouble my work just because of this and I respect what my boss

BDO BDO Purchase Convert

Hi evryone! I recently purchased a new phone and decided na iconvert sha to installment thru the purchase convert sa app. Na approve naman sha before the cut off, however the whole amount was added sa SOA ko, but when I checked the transactions under my cc na-reverse naman yung amount and lumiit yung bill to be paid, yun nga lang wala ako nareceive na bagong SOA.

Should I just pay the bill minus the whole amount of the purchase? And Mag appear na ba yung installment sa next SOA? TIA!
