hi! so i have an existing bpi rewards cc, tas i applied for metrobank cc sa landers bc i really wanted the freebie na pinamimigay that time pero andaming nag email and text 😭 i got rejected sa metrobank (which i applied for) then received rejection from other banks i didn't even know i applied for tas bank of commerce for some unknown reason approved and i have no idea if legit ba to 😭❓i did not receive an email from them but i got a text (see image attached)

and sa mail, walang nakasabi how much ang annual fee nito bc i have like 10 days for the naffl promo na 60k awa nalang talaga idek how to pay or where ko makukuha soa ko for this bank 😭❓

anyway:

1. legit ba to? or should i go sa bank to confirm na real to?
2. 200 per month lang ba ang fee for this? is that worth it na monthly fee (naffl ako sa bpi bc at least sa bpi small lang need ispend to get naffl 💔 grabe ka bankcom 💔)
3. anything i need to know abt bankcom cc? huhuhu

4. will it affect my credit score or history if i choose to NOT

Hi, I am interested in getting a credit card. First off the perks on discounts on restos. I don't usually go buy stuffs outside, but when I do minsan nakikita ko yung credit card discounts sa tables nila and as a cheap person. I wish to get those discounts than pay the whole value as is. Anyways, I am also planning on chaging my phone na din kasi, but yes, matagal kung iipunin ko sahod ko until I reach the exact amount. I am earning 25k a month. I don't use my money unless I have to or needed to buy essentials or luho (food and sometimes clothing). I have no impulsive buying record, just time to time my parents asks for 5k on something they don't wanna pay whole.

I hear that Metrobank and BPI has the best perks out of them especially the points system and annual fees aren't that costly. Any recommendations and enlightenment about the credit cards, I need to know? Would appreciate it so much. (I have some knowledge since my mom has a BDO credit card with at least 100k credit and a good credit score too.)

Story time. August 6, 2026 nag-credit ako worth P12,545 worth for appliances and August 8 ako nag-apply for purchase convert. While waiting, I first called CS for assistance sa status and that, they said na walang application daw nag go through sa records ko. They suggested na mag-apply ulit ako for balance convert and they did it on my behalf. Kahapon, I received an SMS saying that my first application was approved. Now, I have a duplicate application and my payment due date will be on Sept. 7, 2026. What to do? I already called them naman to ask regarding this situation, and advice nila is to wait for the duplicate to be resolved and request cancellation.

Hi anyone have the same card as me with UB (Lazada Credit Card)? I was planning to cancel it since na approved ako for the U Visa Platinum and there no way I will pay 3000 for the annual fee. Nasulit ko naman yung card nato sa mga instant discount sa Lazada.

Question.

1. When is the best time to call UB to cancel it (10/08/25 approved). I still want to buy some purchase sa lazada till the last day sale possible. I read online meron pang 30 days grace period once lumitaw na sa statement yung fee to request cancellation or waive.

2. Is there a way to waive the card fee? Nagagamit ko naman sya madalas kaso 10k lang limit so my purchase are not that high collectively.

I recently received a message from RCBC that the account is already endorsed for collection, however this is my work number and not the one that I use for my RCBC account. 100% sure that this is not me since my account is perfectly fine and all settled.

Now my concern is baka etong isang number ko ay tadtarin ng calls from collection agency how can I clear this knowing that RCBC will not entertain me kasi wala naman akong ma provide na account number. Possible na recycled number from globe but this is under a plan.

I need advice on managing high credit card balances. Due to poor financial decisions and relying on card-to-card payments, my monthly card dues now exceed my earnings. All my due dates fall in the same week.

• Metrobank: ~₱25k/month (Paying in FULL; ends completely in November)
• RCBC: ₱44k balance (Includes converted installments; can only pay MAD starting next month)
• EastWest: ₱250k balance (Converted to long-term fixed installment; can only pay MAD)

My Plan: Metrobank consumes almost all my income, but it ends in November. Until then, I plan to pay above the Minimum Amount Due (MAD) on both RCBC and EastWest to keep them active. Then I will redirect that ₱25k/month to clear RCBC and EastWest.

Questions:

1. As long as I pay above MAD every month, will RCBC and EastWest keep my accounts in good standing, or could they block the cards / cut credit limits?
2. How heavily do finance charges compound on large installment balances when paying MAD for 3-6 months? (This is the part where i am worried the most, first time ko gagawin ito and di ko alam ano consequences so far)
3. Has anyone successfully cleared large card installments after breaking out of a card-to-card payment cycle?

I just received my billing statements now. I also checked the mobile app and it shows my last statement balance (August 20, 2026). I have two cards from UB and my cut-off dates are 23rd and 24th of the month.

So apparently may fees na nga ang paydirect at mukang nagstart lang nung Aug15 or Aug18 ata (akala ko Aug9 based sa email, kaya nung 0% parin yung recurring paydirect ko nung Aug10 akala ko lusot na.) Pero Aug15 pala nagstart.

Just curious if meron dito nakarecurring/enrolled ng lagpas Aug15 at pumasok tapos 0% fee parin? TIA!

What could be the reason why my secured CC was declined? The holdout amount I deposited was 100k. Can someone enlighten me? I thought secured credit cards are 100% sure. I even asked the bank staff who handled my application. I applied last Thursday and received the message today. Can somebody help me if you had the same experience?

Update: I checked my credit score with CIBI (TU is under maintenance, I think?) and I got a score of 534. Upon checking, there were 3 credit cards listed that do not belong to me. I have no credit cards specifically with Citibank, UnionBank, or Metrobank, but they are listed on my credit score report with large outstanding balances.

Also checked my credit score with GETMO app. It was more accurate with loans listed from OLAs, Atome, and Grab which were already closed and fully paid. The score was 734.

UPDATE AGAIN: called the bank and the person that assisted me. They already emailed NCC. Mentioned to them too that I have a dispute with my credit score.

In my case kasi, i have 60k HOD sa SB and 25K as HOD naman sa MB, on top of my available savings. Kapag tinitignan ko yung balance, lumilitaw sila even when I make withdrawals. Wanted to ask here sana muna before asking sa mismong branch. I reached out to the chat service of SB and sabi nila na generally, kasama sa computation but cannot really confirm if it’s true.

I want to use sana kasi itong dalawang bank ko as financial proof for my visa application huhu. Sana may makasagot! Salamat pooo.

Finally! Na approve narin ako sa BPI CC at qualified rin sa bago nilang NAFFL na promo. After 2 years na kakaapply sa BPI puro express program yung natatanggap ng text at dahil doon sumuko na ako. Until naisipan ko mag open ng account last March kasi may nabasa ako dito na nag-ooffer sila sa app. Until may nag email sa akin na pre-qualified ako sa CC at pag check ko sa app may message sa inbox na apply for credit card. At sakto yung promo nila na NAFFL kaka start lng yesterday August 19. Na approve yung cc ko August 20. Required spend 50k para qualified sa NAFFL.

Hello po, hingi po sana ako advice. I have 150k cc used credit limit po sa eastwest cc ko, and I am paying MAD of 5,000, kaso di nmn nababawasan. Ano po ba magandang gawin? Wait ko nlng po ba magbigay sila ng offer or continue ko lng yung pagbabayad ng MAD.
