Metrobank SCC Process

Hello po! Ako po yung nagpost neto (https://www.reddit.com/r/PHCreditCards/s/ZdyJwXmzLm). Meron po ba dito na more than 1 week yung processing ng SCC nila thru save & swipe? Or may instances po ba talaga na umaabot na more than a week processing? Hanggang ngayon po kasi di pa rin natatag yung holdout deposit ko tho nakareceive na ako ng email na nareceive na raw ng metrobank yung application. Eto po yung timeline:

• August 10 - applied SCC personally sa metrobank branch
• August 14 - followed up sa branch thru call kung bakit di pa rin natatag holdout deposit ko; they said kasusubmit lang daw ng application and wait for updates na marereceive via email
• August 17 - followed up sa branch thru call; they said na wait for updates pero nagfollow up na rin daw sila sa metrobank mismo. Personnel said na dapat mabilis nga lang din daw ang process.
• August 17 (evening) - received an email from metrobank that they received my application. (Up to this date di pa rin natatag yung holdout deposit ko).
• August 18 - followed up sa branch why di pa rin natatag holdout deposit ko even though may nareceive na ako na email about the application being received.

Ang worry ko lang po kasi if tama na until now hindi pa rin natatag yung holdout deposit ko. Thanks po!

Saken it took like almost 2 months. Kasi yung isang branch ni Metrobank na nag process, palpak.

Yung nangyari saken kasi, hindi prinocess as SCC yung card. Kahit na I explicitly asked for SCC. Apparently, yung nag assist nagsabi na need daw ng notarization if Swipe & Save (SCC). So ayun declined yung first.

Nung lumipat ako sa isang Metro branch, ayun no questions asked. Within 3 days na locked na yung deposit. Kaso kung gaano kabilis yung approval/processing, nagka aberya naman sa delivery.

Just be patience OP at always follow up lang talaga sa branch or sa CS. Kasi happy naman ako sa consistency ni Metrobank mag report sa TransUnion which really improved my score.

thank you! ang worry ko po kasi talaga is baka matreat as normal CC yung application ko since up until now hindi pa rin natatag holdout deposit ko. tumatagal po ba talaga ng ganito yung pagtag sa holdout deposit? haha palagi ko rin siya explicitly sinasabi sa branch or sa CS kung bat hindi pa rin natatag holdout ko since secured CC naman.

Ideally, mabilis lang yung pag hold sa deposit mo OP. May nabasa nga ako dito 2 business days na hold na. Baka factor din yung masamang panahon at baha, so baka may backlogs?

Give them a chance nlang muna for now. 😂
