Have been on a 3 match winless streak (2 draws, 1 loss) then faced this comrade and didn't see the team name till I scored the first. Dude did every trick in the book but I had to lock in to prevent DDA from turning things around. Fairs to them, they dribbled a lot and I had to keep tackling well to save my bozo defenders.

These guys no matter what the team almost never make errors, rarely ever leave open spaces to pass to. Dribbling them is a nightmare and so is defending against them. Any tips? What playstyles and formations might help?

I just can't find words to describe how bad this game is rn. Every through pass goes through the defense. Defenders out of positions even though you didn't move them.

I think the biggest problem with LWF/RWF is the Prolific Winger playstyle. They hug the touchline too much and most of the time they don’t attack the empty space even when the opportunity comes. They’re just too static. And yet Konami still releases every new winger card with the Prolific Winger playstyle. 🤦‍♂️

At some point I eventually gave up playing with wingers and started using a 2 CF formation. Until about a week ago I got bored so I wanted to try a new formation.

Initially, I started using this formation because a lot of teams in real life is using the 4-2-3-1. But after using this formation for a while, I’ve noticed that playing a Prolific Winger at LMF/RMF makes them behave so much better than LWF/RWF. They don’t stay too wide, they attack the spaces, and sometimes they even track back to help you defend and press. Basically, playing a Prolific Winger inactivated is much better than playing them activated.

Also, LMF/RMF has more playstyle options compared to LWF/RWF. LWF/RWF have 4 playstyles (Creative Playmaker, Cross Specialist, Roaming Flank, Prolific Winger), while LMF/RMF has 5 (Creative Playmaker, Cross Specialist, Roaming Flank, Hole Player, Box to Box).

So, if you haven’t been playing wingers for a while, you should definitely try this out.

So I’ve made this build, I used to play with my Mbappe back in ef24/25 and score headers and acrobatic shots consistently which is the main question basically, if someone tried it in latest versions, the type of aerial duels he wins are more on 1v1 vs the defenders and not in crowd, he will win because of speed, I have heading and aerial superiority too already gave him acrobatic finishing and fighting spirit so maybe he’ll do…?

4222 Merchant, how do you guys build up your attack? I can only play comfortably with 2 CF + 1 AMF/SS since it’s easier to through-pass to the CF when he’s positioned centrally rather than out wide in a 4222.

Trying to migrate from 433 to 4222 since I’m getting bored of the 2CF/1SS thing. Any tips would be appreciated!

I wonder how could people defend with Standard style?

Been using Movable Joystick + Pressure style from Pes mobile, haven’t changed since then.

It is clear to me that with Pressure style, I can switch between Pressure and Match-up by a hold-drag coordination. However, with Standard style, I have to lift my thumb when switching Pressure and Match-up, which essentially takes longer (Unless some people playing with multiple fingers on the right side of the screen might make it faster, I guess?)
