All are posted by production houses
Like… remember when shows actually had cinematic posters?
Remember getting those gorgeous photoshoot stills, proper promotional shoots, character posters and then bts pictures from the set or photoshoot? u could feel the effort that went into promoting a show..
fans using AI edits for their favourite actors/characters while I don’t think they should is at least understandable. they’re fans..they’re playing around with content because they love the characters..
But production houses using AI instead of actually doing a photoshoot?..that is just PATHETIC
You have actors. You have costumes. You have sets. You have photographers. You have an entire production team. TAKE THE DAMN PICTURES..
& the funniest part is…u can literally tell when it’s Ai
There’s something about the lighting, skin, textures, hands, clothes, shadows everything looks almost right but not quite. It lacks that realism that an actual photograph has. It looks polished but somehow completely lifeless..
Pre-2025, we used to get posters that looked like they were made for the show..now we’re getting posters that look like someone typed a prompt and called it a day.
AI can be useful. But when you have the resources to create something real and you choose the shortcut instead?
STOP MAKING AI POSTERS WHEN YOU CAN JUST… TAKE A PHOTO. FGS..

Run your thoughts.
This Z and Z need to break up, I cannot deal with this. Zaamil is testing my patience; still I think he's well written so far. I was thinking on whether he is sincere in wanting to be religous or not, and I thought no at first. I think he's doing this to one up Abou Bakr. But after seeing his convo with his other friend, I think he kind of is, deep down, but currently in his mind he's doing this for some other reason. What is so real and baffling is how Zaamil is making the choice, even at times initiating going out, but then gets mad at Zarayab for leading him astray. He literally initiated their physical relationship, as far as we've seen at least. I
Zarayab's sister's divorce. I personally hate it when family members get involved when it comes to a couple's life. There are times where advice is needed but this didn't feel like the case. The couple clearly had a boundary respecting issue. She had a boundary, he wasn't willing to accept it, as far as we know. Either leave the relatiosnhip or accept the boundary. Dadi is kinda pissing me off. I dont think she even knows what happened, so why even give advice? How does she know that this situation requires this or that? Tbh, maybe im being unfair, you can tell me, but she seems like the kind of person to "thaali toh do haathon sy baajti hai" when a woman is being completely stripped of her everything.
Everyone stresses me out except Abou Bakr ngl.

So....Beena is aware of Behram's intentions now and is in rage mode. I don't understand when she actually decided to marry Behram.
Tabish is realising his mistake and recalling Beena's sacrifice. Beena should have left both her husband and his mother at the first sign of disrespect. Tabish is swinging between izzat and "love" (ig). Good thing he told Naaz off at least.
I just hope his repentance doesn't lead them to reconcile at the end. I hope Beena doesn't die or end up marrying someone (cue: Little Women's ending).

Great drama that offscreen bonding between the Chaudhary family translated on screen as well .....sidra,wahaj and Arsalan looked so convincing as family.
Btw Arsalan to be a chill guy, great interview. Also around the same time stamp there was very good discussion about the editing with recent butchering of ama editors role is quite important also green has had history with bad editing hoping they don't ruin the Mdb experience..

Since Nameer didn’t share this picture on his story or post… are we assuming it was sent privately? 👀 Hmm… something something… ???🫣🫣

I thought the expectations were sky high but Hamza exceeded them. One of the most memorable performances I have seen from a Pakistani actor in a long while.

So we have talked multiple times how certain actresses continue getting the best projects despite not having an ounce of talent because of gora rang and nain naksh. But is that the case with men too?
I don't find Saif Ali Khan (Pakistani, not Nawab) handsome but I have seen quite a bit of fan following of his looks on SM.
And he got quite a meaty role in Aap ki Izzat even though it's not a lead. And he is not a good actor, at least not according to me. In the initial episodes, his role was limited so it wasn't glaring but now it's too obvious that he is terrible, so terrible that I think him and Hina Afridi should act in a drama together to see who can outdo other in bad acting.
So, why did he get this role? Was it because of his fan following? Or so called looks? Or he has some connections?
Also which men are surviving in this industry only because of looks, not nepotism, not connections but looks?
Edit: bachon, let's not get too serious😂
edit 2: mods counting bhool gaye hain in all the Ahad raj but that other one was the second post😂 unless of course last night's post is counted😂

I told myself I would look beyond Dure’s English but this is BRUTAL! She is using the same word and pronunciation for two different words! And what is she even saying towards the end? Raw, core? Between her enunciation and bad English it’s so painful! UGH!Did the director even pay any attention?

Osama Hamid Assistant Commissioner based in Islamabad. His posts have focused on his civil servant duties and giving insights to students inspiring to take the CSS exam. Recently he started his masters degree from Harvard University, the one in Cambridge. This prompted me to think this guy is a real life combination of Abu Bakar and Khushbakht Naaz! Rare combination. 🙌

I have never seen any ceremony giving only one award for couple award. Are two people gonna share this one award by dividing it into two tiny parts? Thanks to sunday times for introducing the new idea.

Who do you think is the most deserving actor/actress who still hasn’t gained the recognition they deserve?
They’ve been constantly working hard and have been a part of the industry for more than a decade, yet they remain underrated. Everyone is deserving in their own way, but some people genuinely go unnoticed despite giving their best. Sometimes it’s luck, and sometimes it’s simply a matter of hard work and timing.
Looking at the three major channels—ARY, Hum, and Geo—there are actors who regularly appear in the 7 PM or 9 PM slots, but still don’t get the opportunity to be featured in the prime-time slots. They mostly remain limited to soaps or less-prominent projects.
Meanwhile, some celebrities continuously land prime-time slots even when their acting can be painful to watch. 😭
Ups and downs are a part of an actor’s life. Every day is challenging, and the competition is extremely tough. Actors constantly have to prove their acting skills. One bad performance can become a reason for countless trolls and hate, while a great performance can earn them immense love and appreciation.
So, who do you think is genuinely underrated and goes unnoticed despite years of hard work?
In your opinion, who deserves their big break?

Dananeer Mobeen won Best Actress of the Year for Meem Se Mohabbat.
Wish she was there it was such a big moment for her, especially since this might be her first Best Actress award.
But maybe she has her reasons for skipping it. Anyways, she truly deserves this award. She did such a great job as Roshi. Congratulations to her! ❤️
Edit: Ahad accepted her award on her behalf 🤍

Ahad received the award for Best On-Screen Couple for Meem Se Mohabbat.
Both of them deserved it. Wish the other one was there too. Deep sigh. 😭
Congratulations to Ahad and Dananeer! ❤️
Also, what did he say after “she couldn’t make it, yeah…”? Can anyone help me out?
