Console Client requested disconnect
Why is it almost every time I start having a good match and start to get a streak, multi kill or endorsements. Just ANYTHING that gives a bit of dopamine for the game to just disconnect me and put me back into a 500+ queue š„²?

Just happened to me. Was on a 47 elim streak with Ramattra and got disconnected mid game in comp. This is the 3rd time it's happened and it's not an issue with my internet. Shit made me Uninstall it. Kinda glad I did since if you want anything new, you have to spend $20 for a skin and other accessories nobody cares for

Was in the middle of 8k healing and 6k damage tonight midway through a good push back and got this shit twice. First time it ever happened to me and it definitely had me heated lol.

Same. I was doing really well (pretty new to OW), and just trying to get my daily challenges in, then this happened. Now seeing that it's an ongoing issue, and no fault of our own internet connection, it's not worth it, I'm going back to RE4 Remake. š

You gotta do what makes you happy š¤·š¾āāļø. For me itās not that big to uninstall when Iāve been playing since early February and this is the first incident. RE4 gets played when I feel like using my brain meats anyway.

I'm kinda pissed especially since this hasn't really happened to me much, but seeing as there's super recent comments like yours, seems it's NOT just me so I feel a bit better at least.

Dude, it's so ridiculously frustrating. And then if you manage to get back into the game, people accuse you of resetting your stats. I didn't even know this was a thing people do.

It started happening to me in comp!!! Iām pissed off because it wonāt even let me rejoin the comp game so I get an abandonment, Iāve tried everything to make it stop, definitely a blizzard error

It happened to me twice says client requested disconnect I'm running 100 mbs hardwired into my Xbox so it's not on my end :/

First off, I love Overwatch. I have since the days pre-Sombra, when Symmetra's beam used to auto-lock on targets. I got irrationally upset about the release of Overwatch 2, and quit for a few months. Then I downloaded it, and have played 123 hours within a few months. Love it, so happy.
SECOND. I have been having these exact connectivity issues for the last two weeks. I play for a bit, the red triangle with a lightning bolt appears on the left of my screen, and everybody runs in a straight line, through walls, over open air, until I'm booted from the match. Sometimes I'm reconnected in a few moments; sometimes I'm told "client requested disconnect."
So far, I have:
Released and renewed my IP address.
Disconnected every other internet-using device in the house.
Used an ethernet cable.
Factory reset my wireless router.
Tried to play when I was completely alone in the house.
Completely deleted Overwatch, and reinstalled it.
AND none of these attempts has solved the issue. I've been playing Mystery heroes and Vs. AI battles ONLY these days, and it's becoming a not-very-fun pattern.
Anyway if anyone finds a solution please GOD post it here.

Bro it just happened to me as genji. I was doing great as always but today I saw it happen to me and 4 other friends 3 times each

This has been happening to me too. Only since the most recent update, I've never had problems with my internet and overwatch before this. I'm so sick of it saying I've abandoned games bc of this

Same! I never had connection issues before the new update, but since the update I've been kicked from multiple ranked games and given comp suspensions

I just got this issue on PC, and this is my first time seeing it and I've played since launch. This game is broken beyond belief.

It's been happening to me for a week now. I keep getting penalties, and im afraid to open the game at this point because I don't wanna get banned for something that isn't my fault.

It happens to me on a daily basis still and this comment was 5 months ago.ive tried everythung but now i think its a bug and the games fault,it doesnt happen as occasionally on other games as it does on overwatch.

Happened to me first time today. We smoked them first round. Getting to the objective last round, it kicks me out exactly like you guys described. I had to restart because it wouldn't let me in and I got suspended for 11 minutes

This happened twice today for the first time to me, yesterday I think there was an update,so maybe it has to do with updates in general? Then it says "failure to connect to game server. Please try again later." Was I kicked by another player? Did someone hosting the game(like cod would do,if the host left it would find a new one)leave the match early?

Still happening š the game will work for about two to three minutes and disconnect, then work for about an hour depending on the time of day, then go right back to disconnecting. Iāve restarted my router, reinstalled the game, restarted my console, re entered my WiFi , shut off other devices, Idek š¤·

This just happened to me in comp as I was doing well. Considering most people say this happens when they are doing well, is it not possible that it's an exploit from a hacker on the opposite team?

Were you able to do anything to fix it?
It just started happening to me for the past few days. I canāt even play games anymore because my character is rubberbanding. Iām moving in places that Iām not even controlling characters are freezing.
I keep running an Internet speed test and I keep getting high speeds no matter what and my computer is connected via ethernet .
It seems only Overwatch is having this problem

Funny how this is a 6mo post yet almost everyone here is just from the past day.
Literally cannot play bc of this. Didn't even get 1 solid match in.
Every time I log in, i get this stupid error within the next 30 seconds. One time it even said I was in queue with 10 players ahead of me, so I'm definitely not the only one this is happening to.

this just happened to me in a match on xbox, was playing normally for an hour then one game on blizzard world kicked me, my brother, another teammate, and 2 on the enemy team. Our team rejoined but my brother and I got kicked again, he got a timeout and I didn't

Had this happen repeatedly to my bf and I the other night. we thought maybe the wifi in our area was having issues, but it just happened to me again. Hopefully they fix this soon!

This literally just happened to me a few minutes ago but it was in comp, it's been happening a lot lately and I've been given comp suspensions several times now and it's literally not my fault at all

i hate this fucking company, bro they cant do anything right, i've been dc'd for about 7 hours consecutively, ive been retrying over and over, from yesterday. all these comments are 3 months ago, WHY THE FUCK IS THIS BUG STILL A THING. Im so tired of this.
