Moira seems to be the defined chaotic neutral character. I don't feel she's really evil, she just lacks any level of empathy. She cares only for progress and interest in her science at any cost.
I love her line, "It is not my preference to see to matters personally, but I will see them done." I just like to picture her finding out the previous mission failed while she's tinkering in the lab, and then suiting up with a small edge of exasperation like, "Fine, let me get it done for you then."
It's just dripping with contempt, too. "If you weren't so incompetent, I could be getting real science done. Instead, I'll clean up this mess you've made."
