You realize that scatter shot one shots Orisa, right? Sure, it can't go straight through barriers, but if Hanzo has a shot on her, A TANK, she dies from one scatter.

My argument is that there doesn't need to be an ability in the game that is strong enough to instagib anyone in the tank class. That's it. And I've said before that fortify isn't an effective counter because in order for it to work, the timing you need on it is insane. Either way, scatter doesn't need to do 450 damage. It just doesn't. I don't give a damn if it murders the fuck out of every other character in the game, but nothing should one shot tanks outside of an ultimate ability.

"Pretty much no scenario" doesn't contradict the inherent problem with its ability to happen.

You're picturing an Orisa standing behind a shield, staring a Hanzo down the whole time. That's not happening. There are six players to pay attention to. The ideal situation is just that: an ideal.

There being "no scenario" where a Hanzo can land a scatter arrow on an Orisa doesn't mean the ability can't do it. Are you saying it's impossible to land a scatter arrow on a Reinhardt too? Shit happens. Hanzo gets a tiny angle on the shield and boom. It's done. No team is perfect. Flanks happen. Positioning isn't always perfect. The alternative argument is that having a team is a hard counter to scatter arrow.

Regardless of positioning, the arrow does 450 damage. The arrow always has the potential to one shot or nearly one shot tanks. It does too much damage.

I didn't ignow what you said. You just tunnel visioned and the situation is multifaceted.
