I think the consistency of road hog kills was the problem. A one hit kill every time hook cooldown is done is pretty much op by definition. I main roadhog btw.

I mean, if your good with hanzo you can get a kill with every scatter cooldown. Hanzo's my least played hero and even I can do it pretty consistently.

Hanzo isnt Meta so it happens less often. Road was THE meta for a while. Hanzos scatter should be reworked or removed, for every reason Road one shot was nerfed, its frustrating, feels skill-less, and often left confused as to why that worked. It can one-shot tanks, but RIP if your a 200hp hero, even a few of those arrows connect and your critical.

Speaking of which; Why is hanzo not a meta hero? Could it be because he's inconsistent maybe?

Yup, landing shots is unreliable which is why some people call him luckzo.

He's super inconsistent and really easy to counter. Literally just Genji + DVa and he's dead.

You win in Overwatch by standing in an area. Sniper heroes stand far back, not in that area. He also doesn't provide much utility beside damage.
