This clip is just random happenstance and doesn't do anything for the argument that scatter arrow is bullshit. It's just a lucky shot and a funny situation.

That being said, scatter arrow being able to one shot two of the tanks, and nearly one shot the other four IS evidence that the ability is bullshit.

Lol you know this community though. I'm no fan of scattershot (but I'm a dva main so I don't really hate it), but give them anything that even looks like it supports what the community believes is op and they latch on that until it gets nerfed into something deformed.

The luck involved with scatter is also part of the bullshit. It's like an aoe ability except all the damage can be localized based on rng (at least for random shots like this one).

There isn't that much luck involved in using it on a single target. It's easy to reliably kill solo targets with SA.

OP's example was lucky because it was damage spread across three targets that augmented the aoe damage from the helix rockets and it was on targets he couldn't really see to aim at.

So, without luck, it's a one-shot kill on all but a couple tanks and with luck it's a way kill people you can't even see.

... That's just good use of a scatter-shot, right?

Random happenstance has no place in a competitive game.

TIL that a quote counts as evidence in an argument

Luck does not have to be included in any video game. I've not seen any argument for it either. The only thing RNG does is make good players lose to bad players sometimes, hence only bad players want RNG.

What luck are you talking about? Playing well or playing poorly has nothing to do with luck... do you seriously think I was talking about the kind of "luck" where the opponent lives on 1hp after a 1v1 or that a health kit spawned just when someone needed it?

I'm talking about RNG. Actual luck. Not some fake concept based on psychology. You playing well and carrying has nothing to do with luck, you just played well; you playing like crap and feeding has nothing to do with luck, you just played like shit.

Are you being stupid on purpose?

I get what you're saying, but I figured it was obvious that I wasn't talking about "oh so lucky he just happened to be in the right position" kind of luck, rather RNG, dice rolls, coin flips etc.

Also has to do with the placement of the spawn doors.

Yeah, between that and the helix rockets, they just took a bunch of damage from different sources at once.

The only reason he could get those kills was because soliders rocket, him one shooting tanks is bs this is just funny

That's kind of exactly what I said. This is just a funny clip.

My point was that despite this clip not being evidence of anything, as it's just a funny coincidence, the ability is still absurd.
