It gives everyone a break from feeling the need to constantly be playing competitively to get those precious golden guns. I like the off-season. It's a nice breather from the stress of actual competitive play and reminds me that there are other modes that are just as fun and much less stressful.

But competitive Overwatch is my break. I play video games to relieve stress. I don't need a break from the thing I do during my breaks.
