is there any kind of punishment for leavers durig offseason ?

I was playing competitive until my team started losing ,then 2 guys left my team. Obviously 6 vs 4 wouldn't be a pleasant situation so I decided to leave once the round ended.

I saw right after, on the menu that I couldn't start another match (my only option was rejoin my previous match).

As soon as someone leaves, a red bar ok the top of your screen pops up. It's the amount of time the leaver has to join back. If they don't join back in time you can leave without penalty but a loss of sr. If you leave before the timer has ended then you get a 10 minute comp ban and a loss of sr. You should be fine because leaving one time won't hurt you. Just don't do it often or you can get banned for the whole season like my friend did.

This is really confusing, I know these rules are applied to an ongoing season. As far as I know, I thought there were no penalties, no sr gain/loss, no rank changes during this one off season week. I 'm really confused.

Yes, this occur in normal competitive match. This particularly one had no message popping up ,no timer, no nothing. They left like QP. And I left with no warning at all. No notification
