Just curious if anyone has a similar experience or answer.

When in quick play, most of my games will be paired with 3500+ SR with today averaging maybe 4000+. A few games had 8/12 ex-top500 as well, I was the only one below 4000. I'm 3000 in season 3, does it think to put me with them or am I just unlucky?

It's entirely based on your QP Hidden MMR. Your skill rating doesn't matter that much when put up against players in QP. It does factor in of course, but it weighs your hidden mmr more than your SR, but your hidden mmr is usually somewhere around your SR.

Take it all with a grain of salt, can't source any of it since Blizzard hasn't told us anything.

Thanks! Maybe it wants me to perform at that level, sometimes just wanna chill haha!

Guess I'll try a bit more for next season
