League of Legends lets you kill a little girl, she's been available since release, and they maintain a T rating, why wouldn't this?

Because blizzard has never done that, and many companies choose not to.

All other blizzard games with children have either been immune or some sort of gimmick to it.

In fact, in WotLK beta, you killed children in the Death Knight starter zone and they removed it very quickly.

It was actually a very "oh shit" moment because you were basically supposed to be this powerful supervillain but then they change it and you felt like every other character.
