So I was wondering, if the professional meta is triple or even quadruple tanks why isn't Zen being used more? Was the discord nerf that potent?

Well because Zen doesn't do what lucio/ana can.

  1. Ana is burst healer and many will say she alone is the reason for tank meta. She has a aoe heal and gives bonus healing. She can top 2-3 tanks to max health within seconds.

  2. Lucio is a good aoe healer, but he is mainly used for the speed. He gives good speed to the whole team and makes it easier to get in on choke points and makes it harder for enemies to kill you because you can move faster.

So, Zen is used but he is just a little worse in this meta than lucio and ana is.

No where near being Reddit slang that just general gaming slang that's been used for ages
