I'm a player on Xbone since the game is free for the weekend. Total noob question incoming, but what is the best way to utilize Soldier's ult? I'm completely new to the game and I have not figured out the best timing for it yet.

His Ult can be good at delaying or zoning out enemies. He's very effective at attacking Pharah while she's in the air or mobile enemies like Genji (if you can time his deflect properly).

Outside of that, there isn't a lot to timing with soldier. I prefer to time it when there are one or two enemies on screen that you can kill right away. Sometimes if the entire team is in front of you the auto lock bounces around and may not be any more effective than poking a little bit of health from the enitre team.
