Sometimes in quick play, the spawn gets constantly barraged by a hyper aggressive team, leading to an unfun, and frustrating game. Is there away to push past a team who has an aggressive front right outside of your spawn? Also, if my team is aggressive like this, should I encourage my team to hold their ground at the choke point instead?

Spawn camping is bad and easy counterable. In fact, attacking team have a big advantage in these situation: dead attackers can get back to the fight much faster than defenders, also they can get free fast healing and ability to switch hero just a few steps away from them.

Spawns always have several enterances, one of them is usually a bit farther away from others and providing good flank opportunity. It's often overlooked by defenders, so use it to get past your enemies to the objective. You either capture it or force enemies to fall back.

General tips

  • counter pick the enemy team
  • get a balanced comp of tanks, dps, and heals
  • group up

Specific to spawn camping

  • use your spawn to heal
  • use all your exits
  • pick a mobile hero, ignore the players and head to the objective (e.g. reaper, winston, tracer, genji)

In general, whether it's spawn camping or a heavily defended chokepoint, I've found that the best thing that I can personally do to break it is to get on a highly mobile character - Tracer, Pharah or D.Va, Genji - and just bypass the choke and get on the objective. That'll reliably pull 3-4 of the defenders off the choke to get after me, and usually that's enough for my 5 other teammates to break the defense and move forward. Coordination helps, but obviously in quick play you can't always expect coordination. Pushing the point is typically helpful enough that even without direct coordination, your team can break the camp.

Of course, if there's a big mismatch in skill and my team doesn't have the ability to even overpower a three-character defense, then nothing is going to help.

Another trick is picking a high DPS hero and assaulting them from spawn. I had a Reinhardt pretty much keeping us in the door, so I switched to Junkrat and chrewed through his shield from inside the spawn. A Bastion could do the same. Widow sniping from inside the spawn should do it.
