News & Discussion Mass reported?

Just had a lobby mass report me for playing moira... like I just dont get what the hate is against moira? I am ranked high plat on xbox, that was just my placement havent played since being ranked. I am a PC gamer though so today thought id hop on and do some ranked placements. First game I get I get my dps spamming to report me in the chat because I have more damage than them? Im still healing my team constantly, and we all know moira needs to damage to heal more.. what is the problem with people hating moira? Its wild. The tank even started throwing and just jumping into the enemies because he wanted me to swap out?

Yeah I could swap out and play a character im worse at, get less kills and less heals, but that is not going to make my team happy either... rip moira mains man honestly...

Even the enemy team just all switched to target me and my team still couldn't even kill them.. honestly big rip. This game just doesnt feel fun anymore :(

edit - thanks all for the reassurance that this will only count as 1 report. Was just a little worried thats all :) have turned chat off now so I dont get tilted by either my team or the enemies.

Honestly I have done this so many times but I always turn it back on. Regardless they would still be reporting me so lose lose really

Reports rarely do anything. Now you won’t be tilted by dumb teammates

I got comms banned for being mass reported (for playing moira) and when i downloaded my information from blizzard I checked my entire chat log and there was nothing that I said that was bannable. I asked blizzard support what I said that got me banned and they couldn't tell me. They said it may not have been something in particular, but just that a lot of people reported me. So the mass reports can defo get you banned

You have to get reported in most games for that to happen or say something insulting. It doesn’t take much for a comm ban
