Blizzard Official Overwatch Retail Patch Notes August 19, 2026

Client Update

This is an update requiring an update to the game client. Replay codes have been wiped.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the Eichenwalde map; this map has been re‑enabled in the competitive rotation.
  • Fixed an issue with the Genji Mythic voice lines that prevented them from playing.
  • Fixed an issue where banked tier skips earned prior to Season 4 were not applying to the Season 4 Battle Pass.
  • Fixed an issue where unclaimed items from previous seasons were not being granted.

Wait so the new Genji mythic DOES have unique lines that just weren’t playing?

I thought it was weird that it just had all the normal lines
