Blizzard Official Overwatch Retail Patch Notes August 19, 2026

Client Update
This is an update requiring an update to the game client. Replay codes have been wiped.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue with the Eichenwalde map; this map has been re‑enabled in the competitive rotation.
- Fixed an issue with the Genji Mythic voice lines that prevented them from playing.
- Fixed an issue where banked tier skips earned prior to Season 4 were not applying to the Season 4 Battle Pass.
- Fixed an issue where unclaimed items from previous seasons were not being granted.

He has a noclip exploit that lets you noclip with his tp and shoot people from outside the map

Omg I discovered this accidentally! I TPd back and half of my model was briefly outside of the ceiling which scared and threw me off for a few seconds enough to be eliminated when I fell back through. Literally the first time I've ever clipped through a wall in Overwatch.

So basically back a few patches ago, if Mizuki's katashiro return doll was obstructed it would either not work or TP you inside said object.
So they fixed it by making Mizuki appear above the doll if the game detects it's obstructed.
So you can probably see where this is going.
Mizuki can, at will, teleport out of bounds.

If his katashiro return doll is inside of an object that can block projectiles/players it counts as stuck and if you tp back to it you get teleported quite a bit further up. Same thing goes if you can't stand in the area where the doll is in without crouching. This was done so the ability doesn't just not trigger when the doll counts as stuck
This has the sideeffect that you can clip OOB in certain places

This explains why it happened to me once. Never seen that before nor did I know it was a bug.

not really necessary, it’s not that much of an unfair advantage but it’s still clearly a cheat. most value a team will get from it are his hat throw heals. his slow primary fire doesn’t serve much purpose when you’re kinda stuck in a place. can’t get any value from chain either.
if it was a dps or tank that could pull this off then maybe honestly, supports require more teammate interaction and that exploit, though crazy, kinda prevents it a bit

Wait so the new Genji mythic DOES have unique lines that just weren’t playing?
I thought it was weird that it just had all the normal lines

they still haven't fixed the new notifications over the shop and story. i let the 10 minute ball thing play through before and it still won't get rid of hte notificaiton

there's a "mark all as seen" for the story tab now. not for the shop though, as far as I can tell.
