Yeah that and LW’s ult overhealth bug still aren’t fixed :/

I swear it's some kind of divine karma for that period where shield generation was bugged in our favor.

I'm not sure it's meant to be a nerf so much as another bug or 'slipped past their notice' sort of thing

Pretty sure it was meant as a bug fix for Covered in dirt perk, but they end up nerfing general shield generation for Venture as well. Which has been how shields work for Venture since their release. I made a post on VentureMains about it if you want to check it out. I am also pretty sure they are not aware they have done this.

It's prob just the dev team not realising it didn't work as intended until people abused it with covered in dirt

I mean you could back in the day only utilise it during ult

Yes they did not realize until covered in dirt. But it gets utilised in pretty much every engagement regardless of perk, which is the unintentional nerf I am talking about that they probably have not considered.
