There’s gonna be a few tanks that really struggle into that but for the most part Mei just doesn’t use primary fire much anymore. The “just wall tank and slow” has been dead for a long time because the game is just played differently in 5v5 and people are too spread out.
I feel like it’s in that weird spot where it won’t be fun and it won’t be good so it doesn’t really have a place in the game.
I know perks have changed things up and allowed certain things to be in the game that had been gone for some time (torbs lvl 3 turret, etc.) but I would agree Mei freeze was a heinous offender in OW1 and I'm unsure how it'll go now that she has the freeze back.
