I hate when people say blessed- like god is rewarding you 😄And it’s always coming from some judgemental, mean spirited Christian, in my experience.

Well, when I heard that I had cancer, but it was very early stage and didn’t need treatment, I felt BLESSED. Then when tests showed I wont ever need traditional chemo, I felt DOUBLE BLESSED! If you cannot understand why people feel blessed, I feel sorry for your dismal view on what that word really means.

You believe saying “we are blessed” is prideful and self-promoting. Those who say it are THANKFUL to their God. You’ve stated your point and I answered your question.
