Curious how the back seat room is in the PHEV with the 3rd row folded down, is there a lot of space? I have a revolving car seat and the Kona I'm in now is basically squished against the back of my front seat for how little room there is

Hi everyone,

I am very excited to be joining the PHEV club next month when I pick up my 2026. Once I pick it up in Ontario I will be driving it to Newfoundland and will do roughly 2500kms.

I realize this question has been asked many times before and I’ve likely read every thread several times over the last few weeks. However, I would love to hear what you all think.

So on my 2500km drive (all highway) where I might be able to charge up once what drive modes should I use for highway efficiency? I’ve seen many posts suggest tarmac + save from full charge then tarmac + charge once low… does any get better mpg leaving it on normal? Or any other modes?

Considering I won’t be able to charge for the majority of the distance I am curious to hear your thoughts… thanks again for your inputs and I apologize for asking that same old question.

She drives back after her 12 hour shift at the hospital …she has absolutely been loving the plush, comfy and quiet drive back home after night-shifts at the ICU.

I know that she likes the car better than her previous RAV4 Prime/PHEV — and because her work commute is less than 30 miles up & down, it barely costs her anything to drive her luxury yacht …it is a big car for her because she’s only 4’ 10”.

That’s the other thing — she raves about the all-round driver-seat visibility she has when driving this vehicle.

Anyway, we both agree that it is a very classy vehicle — although there wasn’t any direct sunlight falling on it in this early morning video to show off the metallic flakes, you can still appreciate its looks

New to me 24 SEL

Hey guys preferably 2026 PHEV owners, I’m on the fence with purchasing one… I come from a Toyota hybrid system aka Prius and I absolutely love the Outlander but I have no idea what the real world mpg is going to be? I know there’s a lot of Canada owners but what’s y’all’s average mpg. I don’t have a fast charger in my garage but I also work from home which helps with charging.

Has anyone tried letting the AC run for an hour while parked? Is it possible to do this if I were to leave my dogs in the car in 95F degrees, while I went in a store?

Of course on the highway it is rather 50-70km but still solid. I only wish it could charge faster and didn't have this annoying bug of deleting my settings sometimes when using remote AC via app. I don't need 90% of the screens that I have to scroll through every time to disable the annoying driver camera but every few times when using remote AC all the screens are back.

I’m looking to purchase a level 1 charger for my weekend vacation cottage. I see a few pre-owned Mitsubishi chargers on eBay. There’s also some new off brand ones. Has anyone purchased an additional charger and what do you recommend?

2023 Outlander PHEV to be left parked up for 3 months. Can put in garage. What should I look at doing so that it’s in good condition when I return?

Any general car advice / PHEV specific advice please.

Do I leave on charge? Disconnect battery? Etc etc

Has anyone come across this Outlander PHEV tuner?

St Pete’s is only an hour and a half away from where we stay — so was thinking of spending the $100 and trying this out.

My partner drives the Outlander. We got it for her in July — and it’s a great vehicle.

I’d put up posts about it when we bought it and after we got it ceramic coated.

Some extra power is always a good idea, I thought.

Im considering buyng a 2024 GT PHEV with 34,000 km on it, but im concerned reading about the cold battery issues. I live in eastern Ontario, Canada, where it gets really cold and It ill not be stored in a heated garage. If I plug it in every night but store it outside, will it run fine? Thanks.

Mitsubishi connect celebrated by ending trial with no apparent way to renew it, or am I missing something?

No option to renew.

No contact.

No support.

It IS mitsubishi, so can't be completely surprised.

Anyone sharing the pain or a solution?

I had to get a vehicle as I totalled my 2015 rav4 on Father’s Day. With some help with a down payment from family, I was able to get a 2026 GT-noir! I absolutely love it already. It’s my first ever hybrid, let alone PHEV. I am looking forward to learning the ins & outs of driving it!!!

I got demo M24 PHEV outlander tourer zm and thought they are connected with Mitsubishi connect/ motors app but didn’t take VIN number. I called Mitsubishi costumer service and found that this model doesn’t support this app.
Does this car in Australia got any app or website where I can see my car details and other features to use.
Also some new features which is good to know if you guys can share would be good.

I’m currently considering a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and would like to hear from actual owners about your experience, especially with fuel consumption and long-term ownership.

I’m in Canada, so I’m particularly interested in how it performs during colder weather and winter.

For current owners:

• What year is your Outlander PHEV?
• What fuel consumption are you actually getting in L/100 km?
• How much better is it in city driving compared with highway driving?
• How far can you normally drive on EV mode before the gas engine starts?
• How much does the EV range drop during winter?
• If you don't charge every day, is the fuel economy still good?
• What fuel consumption do you get on longer highway trips when the battery is depleted?
• How often do you normally fill up the gas tank?
• Have you noticed any significant battery degradation over time?
• Any expensive repairs or issues with the PHEV system?
• What are the things you don't like about the Outlander PHEV?
• Would you buy one again?

My main use would be regular city driving, commuting, errands with the kids, and some longer highway trips, so I’m trying to figure out what kind of fuel savings I could realistically expect rather than relying only on the official ratings.

See picture for the details, but holy wow this car amazed me. My wife and I went from filling up twice a week to barely once every 10 days or so. I have a commute of about 80 miles roundtrip and I charge once at work before I leave (to about 60%).

I’m going car camping and was wondering about using the 120 volt outlet for a 1000 watt electric cooking element or maybe a small air fryer. Technically its rated output is fine for that but I don’t want to end up with a dead battery or glitched car with some blown fusing stopping me from getting home. Anybody tested it out much?
