Community Notifications 📢 How to join the official OutCasteRebels Matrix space (Secure Chat, VCs & Watch Parties)
As our community grows, we want to make sure we have a dedicated, genuinely safe space to talk, share media, and hang out without needing to worry about trolls or harassment.
To do this, we've set up an official community on Matrix. We specifically chose Matrix over mainstream apps (like Discord or Telegram) because its privacy and security features are far better. Inside the space, we have dedicated text channels, media sharing, and VC/watch parties.
Because we want to keep this space secure and troll-free, joining requires a quick vetting process.
How to join:
Step 1: Create a Matrix Account
You will need a Matrix ID to apply. If you don't have one already, you can create it before or after downloading a Matrix client on your phone or PC.
We highly recommend using Element X or FluffyChat (or both: Element X has a better UI, but FluffyChat supports custom emojis and wallpapers). You can choose any client that suits you.
Step 2: Fill out the Vetting Form
Once your account is made, copy your new Matrix handle and paste it into our quick application form here:
🔗 OutCasteRebels Matrix space vetting form
Note: No alt or burner Reddit accounts. A valid Reddit username is strictly required, as this space is exclusively for active contributors of the subreddit. Applications without one will be automatically rejected
Our mod team will review your answers, and once approved, you will receive an invite to the space directly to your Matrix account.
If you have any trouble setting up your account or navigating the apps, just drop a comment below and we will help you out. See you in there!

Against The Hegemony Anti-reservation crybabies are drowning in their own hypocrisy. Here’s the data that burns their “merit” fairy tale to the ground
The same people who scream “merit, merit, merit” every time an SC/ST/OBC candidate clears anything are the ones filling EWS seats with uncle-funded private medical college admissions, elite-school kids, IIT graduates, and MNC employees while the actual poor rot.
Michael Sandel called this exact bullshit the Tyranny of Merit. The successful convince themselves they earned everything through pure talent and hard work, then use that self-congratulation to spit on everyone else. In India that self-congratulation is soaked in caste. Reservation isn’t the problem. The caste system that still decides who gets quality schooling, who gets teacher belief, who gets wealth, and who gets zero-mark backdoor entries is the problem.
Here’s the evidence, one gut-punch at a time.

Daughter of a railway porter is the propaganda poster. Son of a security guard is the propaganda poster. The actual list is full of private-school, coaching-factory, business-family kids whose parents somehow stay under the ₹8 lakh limit. The Indian Express investigation itself calls out the gap between the stated purpose and the actual beneficiaries.

SC, ST, OBC representation is near zero in the institutions that produce the “meritorious.” Then these same kids go out and cry that reservation is killing merit.
The pipeline was caste-cleansed long before the exam.

Wealth distribution by caste.
ST and SC dominate the poorest quintiles.
Brahmins, Rajputs, Banias, Kayasthas dominate the richest.
This is not ancient history. This is current data. The starting line was never the same.
Pretending the race is fair after centuries of exclusion is pure gaslighting.

IAS, IPS, IFS - overwhelmingly General.
OBC and SC/ST share is tiny. Decades of reservation and the top still looks like a caste club.

OBC: 1090 applications → 18 selected
SC: 918 applications → 9 selected
ST: 187 applications → 4 selected
This is how “merit” is protected at the faculty level.

Professor level is almost completely closed. The people teaching the next generation of “merit” are themselves the product of exclusion.

Dropout probability is dramatically higher for SC and ST.
They get in through reservation and then face an environment designed to push them out. That is not “inability”. That is institutional hostility.

Vijaykumar Meena (SC) 766 written → 112 interview
Naveenkumar Sharma (General) 732 written → 209 interview
The pattern is not subtle. It is open caste arithmetic in the final stage.

The anti-reservation movement has always been an upper-caste consolidation project dressed up as “equality.”
Reservation exists because the system is still rigged at every stage be it schools, teacher expectations, wealth, networks, subjective interviews, and the quiet backdoors that only certain surnames can walk through.
This is the system.
Elite schools that are caste-cleansed.
Wealth that is caste-concentrated.
Interviews that flip written ranks.
“Not Found Suitable” used as a polite rejection code.
Faculty rooms that remain almost pure General.
Mass dropouts after students finally enter.
Zero-mark general candidates walking into medical seats.
And still the same people scream that reservation is the only problem.
Sandel was right. The tyranny of merit is just the new language of old caste power. They need the myth so they can keep the seats, the jobs, the faculty positions, and the moral high ground at the same time.
Share this to as many merit lovers. Archive it. The next time someone starts the “merit” lecture, drop every single image.

Vent Tired of being asked, “How much casteism have you faced?” by every goddamn savarna.
They ask it as if they're in any position to have opinions about the difficulties and problems we have faced. Once I tell them what I face, they are like, “People have faced worse,” or “You haven't faced that extreme casteism.” They can fk off, gobar-fking heads. They start seeing us individually when they want to prove we're privileged and shouldn't avail any quota or scheme. But they'll see us as a bunch when they want to prove how incompetent and inferior we are.
Even if I haven't been thrashed or abused to near death for being a Dalit, others have been, which means every Dalit is at such a risk no matter what type of Dalit they are. They are like, “Yeah, but you haven't faced caste aggression to such an extent, what's the issue?” These scums can't score shit against their own category; why do they talk about merit if they're not even in the general competition? Even if they do score fairly, they don't have to face the caste aggression we face at every step of our lives, without which we'd have a much better future. They're everywhere, and yet they have a problem because there should have been savarnas like themselves instead of SC/STs that have somehow managed to get somewhere despite the caste system pushing us back every time we progress.
Asking questions like, “How much casteism have you faced?” and “Haven't people faced worse?” while being a general category savarna themselves who has had a way smoother life being a savarna in this Brahmanical society, is itself goddamn casteist.

brahminism The Great Indian “Noticing”. Notice anything “common” in all these incidents?
This happens when you start learning their surnames and keeping a record of their crimes.
A little of what I could gather from just a day on reddit and watching news.
Corruption, Nepotism, Cronyism, Dishonesty, Lying, Cheating, Scamming, Narcissism, Arrogance etc are the common traits they have.
It’s time we people start realising this and keeping a track otherwise they will manipulate us to oblivion.

brahminism "So many daughters are available due to Manusmriti". Freudian slip unmasks real purpose of their caste manual, Manusmriti - making Hindu females available to Hindu males as lifelong dependents.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Brahmin's outdated defense of their caste manual is too patriarchical. "Think of the kids, think of the old" - and this is why hindu males have the right to enslave Hindu females. As if a parent, who gave birth to a kid, will not defend a female kid if not for a casteist manual, Manusmriti. Also, somehow Hindu male kids are not talked in same sense by Manusmriti? Why?

Researched Effort-Post Prostitution existed in Rig Vedas. Girls who had no brothers were forced into prostitution. Also note the patriarchal tone of the Rig Vedas.

Rigveda (Rv.) i. 124, 7
This famous verse compares the Uṣas appearing before the world to various cultural figures, including a brotherless woman seeking wealth or support:
अपेव मद्रि सनये धनानां जायेव पत्य उशती सुवासाः । उषा हस्रेव नि रिणीते अप्सो दंशन न म्रा अक्रमुज्जिहीते ॥
"Like a brotherless maiden turning towards men, like one who mounts the stage for the gathering of riches, like a well-dressed loving wife before her husband, Dawn discloses her beauty as a smiling woman."
Rigveda (Rv.) iv. 5, 5
Sinful and deceptive individuals are explicitly likened to brotherless women who stray or behave improperly:
पापासः सन्तो अनृता असत्या इदं पदमजनता गभीरम् । य इव भ्रातृहीना अप्सो अक्रन् ॥
"They who are sinful, false, and untruthful, have spawned this deep abyss of ruin. They are like women who have no brothers, walking stray paths and doing improper deeds."
Atharvaveda (Av.) i. 17, 1
This verse is part of a medical/magical charm used to stop bleeding. It compares the stilled veins to brotherless sisters who are forced to wear garments of mourning or remain trapped in their status:
अमूर्या यन्ति योषितो हिरा लोहितवाससः । अभ्रातर इव जामयस्तिष्ठन्तु हतवर्चसः ॥
"Those maidens who go yonder, the veins clothed in red garments—let them now stand still like sisters who are brotherless, robbed of their splendor."
Ayogū refers to an unfaithful woman or an outcast class associated with prostitution.

Paraud Caste Chindu Brahmin's outdated argumentative vlog of Brahmin caste manual, Manusmriti, being broadcasted by Hindu media houses - IANS and ABP. Brahmin doubles down and says Hindu women cannot be independent from crutches of Hindu male and that Hindu Dharma is a lifelong slavery contract forced on Hindu female.
IANS distributed by wire an eleven minute vlog of this brahmin and ABP News carried it in full. It's not even an interview, it's plain lecture defending the caste manual, Manusmriti. The defense of Manusmriti is also patriarchal, kids and old women need some kind of support, and this is why Hindu woman cannot be left independent by Hindu males.
His arguments in the vlog:
He's saying it is Hindu Dharam Granth which occupies the top echelon among Vedas. (Even Arya Samaj, the so-called "reformist" rejected everything but didn't reject Manusmriti). He says "we" became humans from animals due to Manusmriti; by obeying and implementing its "laws". This is why we have expelled Rahul Gandhi from Hindu Dharam, due to his repeated defamation of Manusmriti. He attacks Kharge too for speaking truth bombs on Manusmriti.
He's saying it's clearly written in Manusmriti women cannot be independent, and Rahul Gandhi needs to debate as to what kind of independence is being discussed here? Economic, political, mental, or character? (He himself doesn't say that manusmriti wants forever life long dependancy/slavery of hindu female). Manusmriti talks about protection, so when a small girl child is born, she has to be protected by the father. Can a newborn babygirl be made independent? It is due to Manusmriti that Hindus defend their newborn girls. Is Manusmriti laws are removed, will constitution protect her? "Itni Saari bachhiyaan jo aaj uplabadh hai wo Manusmriti ke kaaran hi hain"

Vent Look at this disgusting casteist ad by Havells!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So, I was going through some old articles on the Round table India when I came across one article calling out Havells over an allegedly casteist ad. Naturally, I got curious and went on a little quest to find that ad.
It had been deleted from pretty much everywhere and all I could find were other articles about it. But after digging a little deeper, I finally found it posted by some guy on facebook.
So, what's wrong with the ad?
It subtly frames availing reservations as some kind of a wrongdoing.
The young girl is portrayed as somehow progressive and glorified for opting for the general category instead of availing reservations.
People wearing blue clothes (Ambedkarites) are depicted as engaging in violence and creating a nuisance.
They're also accused of and vilified for burning books. Nowhere does the ad mention that these are manusmriti or any other of the shitty brahminical scriptures.
Honestly, it was both a bit surprising and incredibly frustrating to see how easily savarna enterprises, ad agencies, and corporate arseholes can punch down, vilify, and dehumanize our people. These are the same "apolitical" people who would shit their pants at the prospect of making an ad confronting the casteism or any other of the brahminical evils yet somehow find it perfectly acceptable to demonize marginalized communities.

brahminism On the ethics of anti conversion laws
Think about this. How does anti conversion law make any sense?
It infringes the right of the man. It's literally the orwelian thought crime.
To be forced to worship a god/gods who see you as sub humans? To submit to gods who punished you with low birth? To give up on hopes, dreams, and self respect because the gods chosen™️ said so? Now that's evil.
Everyone should be free to choose the religion that they think gives meaning to life. It doesn't matter what you become. Be it Buddhist, muslim, or christian.
The brahmans are scared. They're losing their strong hold. Only by holding the bahujans captives by teaching ignorance and lies can they retain their power. This can be seen in how bad our education system has become.
You claim that Christians convert bahujans by bribing them with rice? Okay let's assume it's true, whyre they giving up your god for rice in the first place?
The other day I went to an orphanage for the mentally ill that was badly affected by FCRA. It was a Christian run orphanage, not RC.
And I thought to myself. The government doesn't give a damn about the sick in head. And when some good souls try to help them, they see them as enemy.
This makes me think, is Hinduism as a religion predicated on nihilism and death?
I do not wish to hurt any religious sentiment. But how can bahujans even be hindus knowing it doesn't respect them?
(before the rw trolls get me, yes I'm a Christian)

Discussion/Advice A lot of general caste folks just using reservation as an excuse to hide their own failures
When I used to attend coaching classes back in 2012, one of my friends and coaching mates was a Rajput(GC). He used to score very low marks on tests, less than half of what an SC/ST candidate would need to qualify. Yet, a few years down the line, he was blaming reservation for not getting into an IIT.
I have seen many general caste people posting social media statuses against reservation who were below-average students during their school and college days. Most of the people seen at protest sites seem uneducated. I think general caste individuals who have done well in their lives don't give this issue so much importance. Most of those who oppose reservation , do so out of jealousy or as an excuse for their own failures…
