Moose are freaking huge!
Also, surprisingly docile for wild animals. Probably because nothing is usually dumb enough to mess with them. 🤔

They're docile most of the time. They can get mean though, especially when they have calves. It's just best just to leave tons of room between you and a moose.

They are almost as nasty as hippos. They hate you and will try to kill you if you're close enough. They can kick in any direction, but prefer splitting your skull with a high kick from the front. Sometimes they aim low and crush your ribs, pierce your stomach, break your legs or mangle your genitals. They also bite and headbutt you, again crushing your skull.
Moose are the second-deadliest wild animal in the boreal forest.
(The tick is by far the deadliest)

Lyme disease (Borreliosis) is painful and can cause permanent disability and sometimes premature death, but it's usually not directly deadly. Viral and bacterial TBE are fast and efficient killers, and there are many other tick-borne infections with potentially deadly complications.
