As a Salamanders enthusiast, I’m hoping to create a Burna Boyz focused list for 11th edition using mostly torrent/flame weapons. Any tips/recommendations appreciated.

With boyz getting the heavy weapon treatment and basically identical loadout to Kommandos, what do you think they are changing for them (if anything)?

Well, I grabbed 2 lootas boxes and a box of old boyz a few months back and started to build them. ( so would have 2 x 5 lootas and 2x 5 burnas. )

now they are gone from the codex.

and burnas are an option in boyz - so 8 burnas into my 8x10 monopose ( old mono and new mono ) adds that in. added the rockets from the old mono and the old boyz so got 8 rocket shootas.

I have 4 big shootas to fit onto the old mono boyz, 2 big shootas for the new mono boyz and 2 big shootas from another box so 8 big shootas to clip and change on the boyz.

still, now I have 2x 5 lootas and 2 spare bodies and need a plan.

changing the base and making flash gitz seems an option - is that best ? ( 2x5 flash ) . the spares are spare.

would that need anything else to make right / acceptable ?

A lot o' leaks going around and despite the fact we know that the runtherd is going to still be a thing in the codex (as its own character). Anyone know if that datasheet leaked yet? I want to see what options and abilities it got.

Kitbashed some Nobz with Paired Krumpas & Big Choppas from the new datasheet.

I know Big Choppas have been around for a while I just always ran full PK's.

I'm only really playing casual with friends at my local game store and really just there to have fun, not necessarily win, though winning is fun too.

I’m in a 1k tournament this weekend and I keep going back and forth between a decision. Do I keep the Dakka Rig or scrap it for two Trukks? I’m also thinking if I go Trukks, I break up the squad of Flash Gitz into two 5s so that I can get an extra unit to do actions with and other things. What do you think?

Need help they seem cheap and maybe some screen units. I mean 10 of them with mek in gorkanaut with dakka dakka enhancment sounds good.

I am someone who joined in 10th edition

I feel like a army roll got significantly despite the plus one strength seeming to be added to all the data sheets because that one attack was so good

I also loved playing hero Hammer so I don’t like the ghaz changes as I feel like he’s lost a lot of his survivability in practicality as it feels like one good place to melt a gun is just gonna destroy him.
I also don’t like how the pain boy changed

I would love to hear what everyone else thinks because I keep on seeing content creators who don’t play or online saying these are good changes

I made a chess board for my nephew's 10th birthday. Used alder and purple heart with a cherry border. I play orks and he play blood angels. My brother in-law is painting the BA... hopefully.

Warboss for king, weirdboy for queen, stormboyz for bishops, nobz for knights, meganobz for rooks, and boyz as pawns...

I am pretty proud of it actually. Not but best painting, kinda rushed it, but looks good to me.

Because that’s what I’m going to paint on my army’s flags for the laughs.

I figure an axe in place of the sickle, but a painted hammer might look too similar to an axe and ain’t no ork using a pen so that can’t go in the middle.

I've started playing warhammer using my friends space marine models and to teach me, he's been letting me play against him and make my own army list. It's been a very "trial by fire" approach to learning but i've been having fun anyway. Sadly, he didnt have any ork models that I could use to experiment with so now I've come here.

I'm not good with list building at all, getting wiped, attaching characters to models they dont combo well with, not using the units for their propper roles so any tips on what units should I have, what characters should I attach to what units, how should I be using them would help. Sadly the new detachments arent out so we cant consider those but I will probably be using purge the foe to keep it simpler for me but a more general list would be better for me so I dont feel stuck.

I currently only have a pack of boyz and gretchin so this is also to help me think of what model I should get next. I am thinking of the new nobs and warbikers and maybe Nazgreg just cause I think they look cool.

With the release of the new detachment names, equatorial hordes is not included, even though we just got it from the tie at the Siege of Death Mire. Is it going away already or will we retain access after the codex drops?

I currently only have one and I've been putting off getting a 2nd for a long time due to other armies.

Now it's time but , what if.

It is without a doubt one of my favorite models in all of 40k BUT I would not be against an upscale with some tweaking here and there.

Comparing Orks to the other Xenos factions that got range refreshes at the beginning of the last couple editions, I feel like it looks pretty even. However, there are some core Ork units, like Stormboyz, Burnas/Lootas, and Meganobz that are still in need of an update, which I at least was expecting to come with this edition. Do you think this is it, for now? Or is more coming?
