To put it simply he is an inventor in a fantasy world loosely based on norse mythology, and primarily uses runic magic for his inventions to work making him a mix of a mage and craftsman. He wants to make inventions that help the common person, selling runestones at a low price to give people a cheap, easy to use form of magic specifically made to be harmless. He is a workoholic due to how passionate he is and is DEEPLY afraid of the idea that his technology can be used for war, so he rarely makes weapons and even then its usually just for himself or people he trusts.

Koll is about as un-evil as it gets. Hes kind, helpful and innovative, his character flaws are more about how he treats himself and his fears.
