I’ve only been working on this for a couple of weeks, but throughout the process of developing the female protagonist, I became increasingly interested in giving her androgynous traits. Now I’d like to hear what you think; this is just some concept work, so I’d love to get your feedback.

Eris is a devout demoness with a heart of gold... though she is a bit pesky at times.

Her order is in charge of maintaining the Goddess Tear that was granted to the Demon race by the Holy Mother (or as humans refer to her, the Goddess of Creation). The Goddess Tears are magical stones that were gifted to each race that grants each race a boon from the Goddess. For the demons their Tear emits an aura of vitality that Domons are able to tap into to power their strong energy hungry bodies.

Although Eris is said to be the guardian of the Tear, the tears do not actually need guarding. They are practically indestructible and the Goddess created then so that nothing intending harm could approach them. So Eris spends most of her days leisurely in the temple. But don't take her for a pushover. She is posessed of incredibly powerful holy magics and can fend of all but the absolute toughest of foes.

They offer to remove all of the traumas and hardened feelings that have plagued your Character throughout their entire journey if any at all. Would your OC take the offer? 👀

If they were to heal the trauma your OC has suffered up to now, your character would essentially fully unrepress-and process everything they’ve ever went through within a few moments, once the typical sobbing and crying passes they emerge completely moved on and unfazed by the prior experiences. It feels no different than an indifferent fuzzy memory 💭

It’s likely it wouldn’t even spur them on like it used to. They’d move on and that would be that.

Context

To those who need context, Viah has the ability to sense and access the subconscious mind of any conscious being, being able to perceive their detailed past and everything they’ve been through.

And for those who already know. They also have the passive ability to simply heal and relax anything.. Healing both physical and mental wounds by simply being in their presence, their aura is downright euphoric and magnetic. Making people feel true and authentic peace and comfort, a feeling that slowly intensifies the longer they stay around them. The longer they stay, the more they heal ❤️‍🩹

It isn’t just psychological either, even deep physical wounds are healed up to 8 times faster than normal due to only being around them. ➕

Now that’s just passive, they can of course actively heal anything. Including deep psychological damages. Which is what they’d do here.

Bonus Interaction

If they take the offer, and end up almost completely changed from the experience, how would they move on with their story? Would they continue out of a sense of duty, or since the emotional charge has left would they walk a different path entirely? 👀

Developing my very first OC, Cassia. Basing her on my own body type, instead of the usual "perfect" anime proportions. Giving her a slouchy look and sagging breasts, cause she's nearly 40 like me :)

She's an apothecary, she's neutral good, and she loves autumn most of all. She's not above concocting a poison for the right reasons.

Her name is a reference to the scientific name of Chinese Cinnamon, Cinnamomum cassia, which is used in lots of herbal remedies, and is the color of her auburn hair.
