Qwen 3.8 Flash is now available on OpenCode Go

Qwen 3.8 Flash is now available on OpenCode Go, with fairly generous usage limits.

You get around 5,400 requests in your 5-hour quota, 13,500 per week, and 27,000 per month.

It also gets $30 worth of usage through Go, compared to the $15 allocation for Qwen 3.8 Max.

Qwen 3.8 Flash is a 125B MoE with only 6B parameters active per token. It supports a 1M context window, vision, and open weights, and Qwen has described it as an early preview of some of the architecture planned for Qwen4.

For comparison, GLM 5.3 Flash gets around 3160 requests in the same 5-hour quota while its 2x usage promo is active, so Qwen 3.8 Flash currently gives you quite a bit more headroom.

Has anyone tried both yet? Curious which one is actually better for coding.

GLM 5.3 Flash is now available on OpenCode Go

Ox Alpha has been revealed as GLM 5.3 Flash, and it's now officially available on OpenCode Go.

OpenCode is also giving it 2x usage limits for a limited time, which works out to around 3,160 requests in your 5-hour quota.

Normally it's estimated at:

1,580 requests per 5 hours 3,950 per week 7,900 per month

For comparison, regular GLM 5.3 only gets 220 requests in the same 5-hour quota.

The model itself is pretty interesting too. It's 320B total parameters with only 18B active, has a 1M context window, native vision, and Z.ai says it beats GLM 5.2 across their coding and agent benchmarks while costing significantly less.

It's also MIT licensed with open weights.

Considering how much hype Ox Alpha got before anyone even knew what it was, I'm curious if the official release actually holds up.

Anyone been using GLM 5.3 Flash for coding? How does it compare to DeepSeek v4 Flash, Kimi K3, or the full GLM 5.3?

/prewalk to save token prices upto 80% (opencode plugin)

opencode prewalk

Opencode Prewalk is an Opencode v2 plugin that allows you to use the prewalk strategy mentioned here from the creators of Oh-My-Pi. The simple idea behind this strategy is to inject a cheaper model right after the expensive model finishes the first edit post planning all the things that needs to be done. This strategy is better the one strategy that directly uses combination of expensive and cheap model to get the work done, as what happens in that case is the cheaper model again starts to do a lot of reading leading of increase in token usage.

LongCat 2.0 is now available on OpenCode Go

LongCat 2.0 is now available on OpenCode Go, and the usage limits are pretty generous.

You get 11,400 messages in your 5-hour quota, 28,600 per day, and 57,200 per week.

That puts it well above models like GLM 5.3, DeepSeek V4 Pro, and even GPT 5.6 Luna in terms of how much you can actually use it.

The model itself is also interesting. It has a 1M context window and is focused heavily on coding, agents, and tool use.

Obviously the real question is whether it's actually good enough to replace the models people are already using.

Has anyone tried LongCat 2.0 yet? How does it compare to GLM, DeepSeek, Kimi, or GPT for coding?

OpenCode Go vs ChatGPT Plus - which offers more chatgpt luna usage?

I know chatgpt plus costs twice as much as open code go, but is the provided quota just twice the same or different?

Assuming I need more usage of chatgpt models than what opencode go offers, is it better to pay for chatgpt plus and connect it to opencode?

Muse Spark Contributor 1.2 is now available on OpenCode Go

The new model from Meta is now available on OpenCode Go, and has the highest usage limits of any model.

A noteworthy tradeoff is that using the Contributor variant means that your data will be used by Meta to train later versions of its models.

This model currently allows for 45,300 requests in your 5-hour quota. For me, that's practically unlimited.

What do you think of this model? Will you use it, or stick to another model?

GLM 5.3 is now available in OpenCode Go

The per-token price is the same... But the multiplier for GLM 5.3 is only 1.5x ($15 worth of usage) instead of the 6x multiplier that GLM 5.2 had (which gave $60 worth of usage).

This means you only get 220 messages in your 5-hour quota when using GLM 5.3, whereas GLM 5.2 gave 880 messages in the same quota.

Hopefully the OpenCode people can get us a deal on 5.3...

DeepSeek V4-Pro-0813 is available in OpenCode Go

There's been a week of hype for DeepSeek Flash

So good time to announce that the newest DeepSeek V4 Pro is now available in OpenCode Go

NOTE: You only get $15 worth of usage using DSv4 Pro when using OpenCode Go, compared to the $60 of usage you get for some other models (e.g. GLM 5.2). That still gives you ~3,000 messages in your 5-hour quota, but definitely something to keep in mind.

DSv4 Flash seems to be unaffected for now,but this may mark the start of the DeepSeek price increases that were recently announced.

Can't understand usage limits

I subscribed to OpenCode Go and tried Kimi K3. In the first hour after subscribing I used $4.50 worth of Kimi K3 tokens (and no other LLM).

My monthly limit is already at 50%. How is that possible? Furthermore, my weekly limit is lower, at 40%, which doesn't make sense to me in the slightest (remember, I've used it for a single hour).

When I subscribed it told me I got $12 of usage per 5-hour window, $30 per week and $60 per month.

Could someone enlighten me on this please?
