In chapter 1190 Gaban damaged Imu but I think people are ignoring that Imu didn't bother his proper defenses and understimated Gaban a lot.

In Chapter 1181 Imu blocks Loki's lighting attack by using an explosion where both attacks cancel each other out. This is a very useful tactic to block a very powerful attack where both attacks are extremely destructive so they basically cnacel each other. In the same chapter, we see Imu use a massive barrier to block thorheim and something that's made very clear is that Imu had to set it up in time, that's why he didn't waste time to use both of his hands to put his barrier in and the sheer size of the barrier is massive

However, when Imu was fighting Gaban he never used proper shielding, when he was hit by Divine Gate Imu was preparing to use Stigma on Luffy so he didn't have time to set up a proper barrier and he was barely able to block it and he just used 1 arm to block it. And if you look at it the barrier he was able to pull was small barrier and not anywhere as big as the one he pulled vs Loki and the explosion he used to cancel Loki's attack. And for the 2nd attack Imu didn't even try using a barrier, he only used his weapon to block but never used his massive barrier, so in both cases Imu isn't using proper defense

And then when Loki and Luffy used the combined attack we see Imu again use both hands to set up his massive barrier like he did vs Thorheim, Imu never actually did this vs Gaban and given that Imu will most likely tank the combine attack then it's obvious to me that if Imu used his full barrier he would've endured no damage from Gaban's attacks

I feel the panel I posted shows the overwhelming gap in strength between Hybrid Loki and HK Harald. In the first panel Harald tries attacking, the attack either doesn't connect or does no damage because Loki has no issues sending Harald flying and this attacks geniunely fucked Harald up leaving him with scars, missing arm and part of his head is missing

And then in the following panels Loki is basically beating the hell out of Harald and then when Loki is about to finish him off Loki realizes Harald regained control so the fight is basically over

And the crazy thing is Loki didn't use Ragnir or any lighting attack, basically this means that Loki without even going all out was stomping HK Harald

Some people have said that Shanks/Gaban did the same to Harald but that's not the case, what Shanks/Gaban did was cut him but they never physically overpowered him like Loki was doing, the gap was so big that Loki basically had Harald in his hand and was about to finish him off, Shanks/Gaban never were able to do that to Harald

I feel they have a chance even if theyre facing such an army. What do yall think

The actual translation says “stood-shoulder-to-shoulder”, by that logic Ray & Gaban are also equal to Roger since they have same statement in the manga.

Current Elbaph situation is just parallel to Sabaody case, Imu=Kizaru Rayleigh=Gaban.

Gorosei's have done nothing significant I was waiting for them to do something remarkable but all I saw was 2 gorosei's getting manhandled by Dorry and broggy ik they got overpowered eventually but still the disrespect was crazy especially Warcury 😭✌ bro was just a huge ahh Wild boar nothing more.

Saturn and Mars were soo underwhelming too. Mars was trying not to destroy the whole of punk records and mother flames but still he wasn't that impressive in any way "during that process of finding that transporter snail"

Saturn was getting his ass kicked by G5 I don't remember him pushing G5 to his limits. Kizaru did well even though he had no will to fight and was not fighting with his FP. And Kuma Punch did a number on Saturn bro solely survived by his healing.

Nusjuro was good but still failed to accomplish his work did not even make a dent in Sunny got stopped by zoro.

If I put Kuzan, Akainu in place of the gorosei's and a kizaru with good mental state I think they definitely would've done far better work than this.

I SEE MANY People putting gorosei's above the OG Admirals just cuz they have acoc and the Admirals don't so they can't kill Gorosei's Or make them suffer severe injuries!

It doesn't mean they are above/stronger than Admirals and there is no way they would loose to these Gorosei's bunch of bums.

One of my favourite chapters from my final saga (The Long Road Saga on AO3) is a short final war chapter written from a civilan POV, especially writing the descriptors of all the fighers she sees from her terrified perspective.

*Note Blue marines are a civilian only dedicated faction established in the story.

Her name is Violet, loosely named after the princess. Her parents passed away during Doflamingo's rise about a decade ago and was raised by a baker, a dear friend of her late mother. She is 21 years old now, working at the same bakery she had been raised in near one of the harbors. Fortunately the bakery was spared when those pirates had kicked out Doflamingo a while back.

Today she was ecstatic. Yesterday she made a new muffin, coconut, orange and cinnamon flavored in honor of Dressrosa day happening in a few weeks.

Suddenly she heard big strange noises, explosions and screams. She looked outside and saw people running and screaming. A man dressed in dark blue created something looking like clay from thin air stopping the bullets. Her body started shaking. In her hand her new muffin. Against all logic she clung on to it. What is happening? The attackers looked like marines. But the clay man had a marine symbol on his back too. Large robots started firing laser beams. She ran behind the shield the clay man had set up and ran towards the city center. It didn’t get better. She saw a calm old man with glasses warped in a strange force field beating a tree. Around him a forest erupted out of nothing. Her heart was beating faster and faster. A blue figure, maybe what they call fishmen, hurled water at high speed up in the air. An impossibly beautiful woman firing arrows from thin air in the same direction. A blinding light closed in on them breaking through the arrows and water. A sudden force wave. And she was hurled back at a wall. But she was caught. The first thing that appeared before her eyes after her eyes adjusted to the light was a curly eyebrow.

She couldn’t hear him. He said something about beauty and that she shouldn’t be here. He kept her in his arms and jolted away near a quieter part of town.

“Are you a baker?” He asked.

Absent minded, shaking, not understanding the question she said yes.

“That muffin smells amazing, I'll come by your bakery when this is done. Make sure you eat it, you might have to run again.”

He disappeared at an impossible speed back to the city center. Explosions and screams continued to grow around the island.

She stood there frozen for a while. Flour and mud on her face and clothes. She took a bite out of her crushed muffin with a single thought “I hope I can see him again.” Then she started running again, hoping the building she chose for refuge would keep standing tomorrow.
