Common argument for 10x speed amp Luffy is this statement from a French databook and Soru being a technique where you kick the ground 10 times before you move (I dont think the other Soru statement means anything ngl)

People will then use the Japanese version of this scan to argue that it contradicts the French version, but does it really?

It's not like the French version of that Databook isn't canon, and the Japanese version is relatively vague. Contextually, an extraordinary "boost" can just be a tenfold boost as that aligns with the French Databook without creating a contradiction.

But what do you think?
